Hey its Ron Fineman with the Fineman Suarez Team coming to you from the west side of Los Angeles.
You know many people ask us about where is the best place to get online resources that are accurate.
Especially because a lot of people call us and they ask us about older listings.
A month old, a day old, three weeks old, sometimes even seven months old.
Oftentimes they are too good to be true listings.
And come to find out those are not even available.
They haven't been available for all of those months yet many of the popular sites are still
presenting them to buyers on their sites.
A lot of these sites have great info.
They have a lot of useful information like mortgage calculators, mortgage information, advice.
And these sites are not only national but sometimes even international.
So the question is -
is a national or international, worldwide information really useful?
Much of it is but when it comes down to actually buying real estate in your community thats a local issue.
So what you really need is a real estate agent that knows the ins and outs and customs of that local area.
They know the quirks.
They have the pocket listings because especially in a market like this where inventory is so low many buyers are often priced out of multiple
offers, overbid by cash offers, etc. Secondly, you want to make sure that you are getting
the most accurate information and the best place to get that information is from the
local MLS and the only people that have access directly to the local MLS in real time is
your local realtor. All the other big sites are getting their information a day late and
often times much more from the MLS as they're forwarding them to them.
So call your local realtor.
Again, Ron Fineman with the Fineman Suarez Team at Remax Estate Properties.
Thank you.
