Today we will demonstrate how to remove Windows Store apps in Windows 8
In Windows 8, you can remove a single Windows Store app by right-clicking and choosing the uninstall option
However, when you select two or more Windows Store apps
you will find uninstall option is not available
So you can’t remove multiple Windows Store apps at the same time
You may be wondering
"Is it possible to remove multiple Windows Store apps in Windows 8 at the same time?"
The answer is YES
Our script can help you do it!
Let me show you how
First, let’s open the script by using Windows PowerShell ISE
After opening the script, you need to add the command-let “Remove-OSCAppxPackage” at the end of the file
And then run the script
Then you can choose the IDs of Windows Store apps that you want to remove
And press ENTER to confirm
After a couple of seconds, you’ll be prompted with a message to confirm the delete action
Click “Yes to All ” to confirm the deletion
When the script has finished running
it shows the brief status information in the left corner of command console
Now, let’s verify the result in the Start Menu
As you can see, the two specific Windows Store apps have been removed from the Start Menu
That’s it!
