Four nice guys working at Moto and Bike rental shop accompany me on today's trip from Playa
del Inglés.
We are heading for St. Lucia with three BMW's, one Suzuki and one Honda, the nc700x.
We take the easy coastal road GC-500 to San Augustin and further to Vecindario.
After about 15 mins. we are entering Vecindario.
We got caught up in some traffic but soon we are back on the open road heading for St.Lucia,
a 20-25 mins ride, a really fine route with stunning scenery and not too sharp turns.
We have been riding through a combination of volcanic formations and a richness of vegetation
before arriving St.Lucia.
In St. Lucia you can visit historic sites or enjoy a local meal at one of the many cafès and restaurants.
But today we have booked our lunch table in Fataga, and we have yet another exciting part
of the route to be explored. It's a ride of 15-20mins.
Here we are close to San Bartolomé, a nice town on the route to Ayaccata and Tejeda.
Today's trip is is one of my favourite routes in Gran Canaria and you can make it also with
smaller bikes and scooters, and you don't have to be an expert rider.
We arrived Fataga after some quite relaxed riding.
Fataga is a charming village with several restaurants and we are hungry.
