>> RYAN: OK, welcome back, Internet people. We're playing Mario Party. It's awesome.
>> CHIPPS: Hexagon Heat. >> RYAN: Oh, I don't know what we're doing.
>> CHIPPS: You know what? You control- All of them are controlled with the analogue stick.
OK? It's not that hard, buddy.
Uh oh. Yeah, no, it's hard.
Oh dear.
>> RYAN: So, it's hexagons. I love hexagons. They're my favourite shape.
>> CHIPPS: I am a fan of the rhombus.
>> RYAN: Oh, somehow I won.
>> CHIPPS: Hm. Yep. >> RYAN: Hooray!
>> CHIPPS: There you go. Take them coins...
Uh, I'm not doing so good.
>> RYAN: Yeah, geez.
>> CHIPPS: Kind of sitting in fourth.
>> RYAN: I thought you were telling me how awesome you were at this game and you own
it and you, you know, you're going to totally destroy everyone.
>> CHIPPS: You know what? You should just settle down there.
I don't know what you're talking about.
Coin potluck.
Oh. You ***.
I wanted those coins. I was going to do things.
>> RYAN: Coins are important. I need them to buy a place to live.
You have made Donkey Kong...
>> CHIPPS: He is so sad. That is coming right out of my 401k.
>> RYAN: [laughs]
>> CHIPPS: Look at those coins! They're so big!
How am I carrying those giant, massive coins!
>> RYAN: I'm telling you. They just melt them down and dilute them.
>> CHIPPS: What? >> RYAN: Seriously?
>> CHIPPS: She's the closest to the stars.
Peach is going to win this if we don't get our *** together, man.
>> RYAN: Ohh. >> CHIPPS: We got to straighten up here. We've
got to-
>> RYAN: Look at this. I'm gaining on her.
Wait, I don't even know where the star is.
>> CHIPPS: Well, maybe you should- No, no. Wrong way, buddy.
>> RYAN: Oh.
>> CHIPPS: It's down there.
>> RYAN: Oh, there's one like right there.
>> CHIPPS: Oh. Oh.
But it might be Bowser.
>> RYAN: Can I get that?
>> CHIPPS: No, you're a little too far away, buddy.
Oh, and now we're going to battle and I might be able to steal your coins.
>> RYAN: Oh, I love battle mini games!
>> CHIPPS: And you just barely might not have enough.
>> RYAN: Battle mini games are the greatest addition to Mario Party ever.
>> CHIPPS: Uh, I think the greatest were the hats.
>> RYAN: [laughs]
Oh, yes. The hats.
>> CHIPPS: Don't- OK, what are we doing here?
Oh, the jackhammer game. OK.
>> RYAN: I love the jackhammer game.
>> CHIPPS: Yeah, and you make the outlines of... this guy.
Now... Oh, come on. Donkey, what are you doing?
>> RYAN: Oh, it's lagging.
>> CHIPPS: Yeah, this ain't, uh...
>> RYAN: Or is it usually just this slow?
>> CHIPPS: This ain't... Yeah, it's just this slow.
>> RYAN: OK.
>> CHIPPS: Timer's doing it right.
I don't think I won.
>> RYAN: [laughs]
You cut outlines at a first grade level.
>> CHIPPS: Mine's like- Well, look at Peach!
[laughs]
>> RYAN: Oh, I love that game. I totally rock at it.
>> CHIPPS: You know what? You can suck my big Donkey Kong ***. Oh a coin.
>> RYAN: Oh, you got a coin! Look at how happy you are that you got one coin.
>> CHIPPS: Peach was in the corner like, "I thought mine was pretty good."
>> RYAN: Ohh, we totally wouldn't put that up on the refridgerator, Peach.
>> CHIPPS: Not even, yeah. What he said.
>> RYAN: Your parents hate you.
>> CHIPPS: I'm not sure where I was going.
>> RYAN: What are we doing?
>> CHIPPS: I don't let you read them.
>> RYAN: I need to read them! I don't even know how to control.
>> CHIPPS: You pick them up with the magnet. It's always analogue stick! I'm going to let
you in on a secret: It's always analogue stick.
>> RYAN: OK, how do I turn around?
This... this is awful.
>> CHIPPS: It's Mario Party. What were you expecting?
>> RYAN: OK, OK, I see. I can't grab it!
Uhh! Uhhh!
>> CHIPPS: Come on, Peach. Don't *** this up.
>> RYAN: I'm just sitting in the corner.
>> CHIPPS: Mm, you didn't do so good.
>> RYAN: That was awful.
>> CHIPPS: Wow, me and Peach whipped you.
>> RYAN: Yeah, whatever.
>> CHIPPS: It's very competetive, Mario Party.
>> RYAN: The poor people deserve the handouts, so...
>> CHIPPS: Ooh. Well, you know what? You should be talking to Wario, who, despite being of
the hard difficulty isn't doing very good right now.
>> RYAN: Yeah, seriously. Actually, Peach is doing really good. Look. She's like...
investing in her future with that star.
>> CHIPPS: Yeah. She ain't going to DeVry.
>> RYAN: She's got some coins saved up... Forty coins? That gets you four mushrooms.
>> CHIPPS: Or two stars. Fun fact. Factoid, let's call it. Flash fact!
>> RYAN: Flash fact? Seriously?
>> CHIPPS: Flash fact! Peach: She's winning. She's doing it. Look at the size- Look at
that. She's getting an item.
>> RYAN: OK, do we have to watch her?
>> CHIPPS: You should stop recording. >> RYAN: I'm going to stop recording.
>> RYAN: Ha ha! Peach sucks.
OK, we're recording again.
>> CHIPPS: She messed that up. She ain't doin' too good.
Alright, we are recording.
>> RYAN: Yes we are.
>> CHIPPS: Ooh, look at you.
>> RYAN: "What are you trying to say? Are you calling me a fake? I'm the real Toad!"
OK.
>> CHIPPS: Here's your star.
>> RYAN: I got really worried there. I thought maybe he was a fake.
>> CHIPPS: I am actually a man.
Uh oh!
>> RYAN: I love this part because I get to see Toad *** a...
... boat is the word I'm looking for.
>> CHIPPS: He is doing- >> RYAN: Oh god! Look at that. Oh!
>> CHIPPS: He is just doing horrible things to that boat.
>> RYAN: Look at him go!
>> CHIPPS: That poor, poor boat. >> RYAN: And his giant happy face.
>> CHIPPS: Oh, look who got an item. Living it up.
>> RYAN: OK, seriously, is it always barrels?
Oh no! In this one it's different per...
>> CHIPPS: Per game. Per board. >> RYAN: Per board. OK.
>> CHIPPS: This is the pirate board.
>> RYAN: Right. That makes sense.
>> CHIPPS: These are not very hard to follow.
>> RYAN: Um, of course not. I just haven't been paying any attention at all.
>> CHIPPS: Yeah, I was distracting you. It was part of my master plan.
>> RYAN: Oh, that didn't work. Uh!
I got a mushroom!
>> CHIPPS: OK, that's, uh...
Yeah.
>> RYAN: GOT ITEM.
I got an item!
>> CHIPPS: Yeah.
>> RYAN: ITEEEEM.
>> CHIPPS: Item.
Got item.
Hot Rope Jump, Hot Rope Jump.
Ohh, Platform Peril.
Oh, disappointed.
>> RYAN: I don't remember any of these mini games. Oh! I love Platform Peril.
>> CHIPPS: You know what? Donkey Kong is going to come to your house and he's going to ***
you.
>> RYAN: That's... >> CHIPPS: Look at him. Look at him. Do you
want that looking at you at night?
Because you know he's not going home after. He wants to cuddle.
>> RYAN: That's wonderful. This is running really slowly. Oh, there it goes.
>> CHIPPS: Donkey Kong, what are you doing?
>> RYAN: Failing miserably is what he's doing.
>> CHIPPS: Like, I was just walking slower than you.
>> RYAN: Yeah, seriously.
>> CHIPPS: I think you cheated.
>> RYAN: Maybe you have like Nintendo 64 Analogue Stick Syndrome.
>> CHIPPS: Oh, maybe.
Well, I didn't play Mario Party 1 with this thing, so...
I don't know if you know but Mario Party 1 is actually the leading-
>> RYAN: Oh, I just jumped right off.
>> CHIPPS: Ooh, terrible. Yeah, Mario Party 1 broke controllers.
>> RYAN: I'm pretty sure it's also the cause of skin injuries in the United States between...
Between the years of- When did it come out? Like 1992?
>> CHIPPS: 1992? >> RYAN: OK, maybe it wasn't that far back.
I don't even know when this game... When did this game come out?
>> CHIPPS: Um...
OK, let's see.
The PlayStation was well into its lifespan in the year 2000. The N64 was around the same
time. I'm going to guestimate that this game came out in I'm going to say '97.
That's a complete *** guess and I'm probably more than five years up.
>> RYAN: Someone in my comments tell me. Thanks. I know there's like three of you that will
watch this.
>> CHIPPS: No, I will not pass.
>> RYAN: Those guys are ***. They just sit in your way.
>> CHIPPS: Hey. Gimmeh. Gimmeh some coins.
>> RYAN: See, at least the bank has the whole lottery thing going for it.
>> CHIPPS: Because one of us is eventually going to win that of course.
>> RYAN: Oh yeah, everyone always wins that.
>> CHIPPS: I'm astonished that Peach is doing as well as she is.
>> RYAN: I don't want to pass. Oh, what do I do? Oh, maybe I push B.
All of the instructions are clearly labelled and yet I have such difficulty with them.
>> CHIPPS: Uh. I'll stay back a here.
>> RYAN: I think here we'll make another cut for parts, so we'll see you guys, Internet
people, in the next video.
>> CHIPPS: Adios!
