Hi, I’m Mitch Pickerill, and I’ll be teaching Political Science 410, Constitutional Law
I, in the spring of 2013. Constitutional Law I looks at a variety of basic issues in the
Constitution and focuses on Supreme Court decisions interpreting the Constitution, so
we’ll read a lot of court decisions. Most of the class is discussion, there’s not
a lot of lecture. And what is really exciting about this year is that the U.S. Supreme Court
made the decision on Obama-care, the healthcare decision, over the summer upholding it. So,
we’re going to spend a lot of time dissecting and studying that decision and trying to understand
the impact of it. So, take 410!
