>> SCOTT DUNN: Hi. My name's Scott Dunn. I'm a Certified Scrum Trainer and agile coach
in the Southern California area. I do public training, such as the Certified ScrumMaster
and the Certified Product Owner class, as well as private trainings in companies across
the nation. When I look at the problems and challenges
inside companies, lots of times my biggest wish is that we build a baseline with team
members, with what does it really mean to be Agile? What does it mean to do Scrum? Maybe
even some of the pain points that those teams might expect going forward. Where is it OK
to differ, where should we not differ? Might that change over time?
We're going to cover all these and more in a one hour baseline overview that I hope is
something that gives you a good sense of what Agile is, what does it mean to be Agile, and
how do we do Scrum, not just for you, but hopefully for teams as well to kind of iron
out some of the problems that you might face going forward.
These are lessons I've learned from my times in the companies, as well as those who attend
my public classes. I hope they're going to be helpful to you as you get started in your
journey and the journey with your team. [outro music]
