A group of former CIA and special ops members released a video ripping the Obama Administration
for classified leaks after the Osama Bin Laden raid.
The group, OPSEC, also says President Obama himself has taken way too much credit for
the death of bin Laden.
Obama: “I directed Leon Panetta, I met repeatedly with my national security team. I directed,
I directed, I directed ...
Seal Ben Davis: Mr. President you did not kill Osama bin Laden, America did! The work
that the American Military has done killed Osama bin Laden... you did not!
The group has raised more than one million dollars so far - for TV ads and the video
“Dishonorable Disclosures.”
On “CBS This Morning” John Miller - former deputy director of national intelligence - spoke
about what’s in it.
“It's a mixture of some undeniable facts, threaded through some conjecture, some speculation
and some propaganda. They claim to be non-political, non partisan. ... Its informational, but it
has some spin.”
He did go on to say there are some undeniable facts in the video you just can't get around.
And it hasn’t been proven the White House is responsible for the possible leaks - but
it is the subject of a department of justice probe.
Mitt Romney has used the talk of classified leaks to his political advantage - calling
it a national security crisis.
“Lives of American servicemen and and women are at stake! But astonishingly the administration
failed to change its ways. More top secret operations were leaked!” (Video: CNN)
The Obama campaign has responded with a statement - the Los Angeles Times has it.
“The Republicans are resorting to Swift Boat tactics when it comes to foreign policy
and national security, Mitt Romney has offered nothing but reckless rhetoric.”
