Hi. My name's Jeremiah Rohr. I'm with The Frame Shop in St. Petersburg, Florida. Today
we're here to talk about how to frame artwork. We're going to start out with a piece of artwork
that we're going to put into a picture frame. This picture...this piece of artwork has been
mounted to a backing board. So once we mount the piece of artwork to the backing board,
we've already picked out a...some mat for this. I've attached the mat to the backing
board. And this some matting that we picked out earlier, and cut out for this particular
piece. Now we have a complete package that goes all together. Then we picked out a frame
that we want to use. This is some molding that we've picked out for this. We take this
back into the back of the shop, and we cut it into the different lengths that we need
to go around the outside. Once that's put together, we...we then miter and join the
frames. This is joined with a V nailer in the back corners. Or you can use nails into
the corner to...to put the frame together. Once we have that all put together, we then
get some glass cut to size. It goes perfectly around the picture, and we then put...assemble
the....the picture and the glass into the frame. And once that's mounted in there, we
put in the holders, and that's all set to go. So now that we've got it all put together,
we have a nice looking picture frame...in...or a picture within a frame, ready to go on the
wall. This is Jeremiah Rohr at The Frame Shop. Hope all your art looks good.
