Hi...this is Dr. Z
I would like to talk about the FCC NOI
I have discussed the summary for Part 1 and Part 2 of the NOI
I will expand on the topics in Part 1 and Part 2
Now I will present a summary of Part 2
Part 2 has 7 different topics
The first topic covers components of VRS
Such as interpreters, deaf persons and VRS companies
How they can best work together?
The second topic covers the "demand" for VRS
This topic addresses as to whether there is going to be more demand or it is staying at the same level
The third topic covers "supply" of VRS
It addresses whether there are enough interpreters--if not, should there be training for more interpreters?
The fourth topic covers "regulation" of VRS
It addresses the question of whether there should be more or less FCC oversight of VRS
The 5th topic covers "incentives" of VRS
It addresses whether VRS companies should provide incentives to foster competition or be more laid back
The sixth topic covers incentives and needs of VRS users
It conerns whether users have needs and what the incentives for such needs should be
The seventh topic covers issues not covered in the first six discussed just now
In the inquiry, questions will be asked and answered so that the FCC can make a good decision regarding VRS
Thank you for watching...until next time
