Today's reflection is taken from the Gospel of Mark, the prophet is despised in his own land.
And this has a very specific reason, it is despised in his own land, because it reminds people how bad it is,
how rude it is, how unhelpful, how little is faithful to God.
The prophet has within its mission, remind one of the truth and that bothers,
so all the prophets are dead or *** or imprisoned martyrs, precisely because at the time of announcing
the truth will be left bare and naked people is upset and begins to find ways how to end it, so Jesus had finished
and completed all and end the vast majority of those people that remind the human being can be better
and to remind the human being in nature is the most profound transformation of self,
that is to stop evil for good, leaving to spend ignorance to knowledge, if we do not make that transformation,
then there is no prophets, if we really, if in our community there no one to tell us that some things
are wrong then that community is totally rotten.
Prophets are a sign of health, are a sign of deep reflection and transformation of society, communities,
all that is around us, we really need to cultivate in our youth that prophetic sense which is able
to say no to things badly as they did the commitment to a better future.
May almighty God bless you, the Father, and the Son, and the Holy Spirit descend over you, your family and jobs.
May the Lord protect and be with you forever. Amen
