Applying for a grant requires a substantial commitment of your time.
You'll need to fully understand the funding opportunity announcement, or
FOA,
and its requirements,
as well as your organization's capacity, structure and resources needed to
fulfill the purposes of the grant.
Your response to the review criteria,
as well as to the other requirements of the grant, is essential
so that you might be considered favorably for funding.
You will need time to research and develop a proposal,
write the application
and meet the submission requirements specified in the FOA.
Taking time to understand all of the grant requirements at the outset
will better prepare you overall for the application process.
