Hi students, and welcome to another module
on C- Culture and Digital Technologies.
My name is Zahra Punja, and I will be your guide and lead today.
We are currently in Module 5.0, Bollywood Songs and Dances.
Bollywood is famous for its dances, beautiful actors and actresses,
singing and dancing in their fanciful costumes
and traditional dresses.
It is where India meets the West,
and through romance and adventure, the two traditions and cultures collide
and form new ways of life for East Indian immigrants to the West.
This push and pull interaction between East and West divides some,
but for most, it becomes a playful interchange,
a marriage between East and West,
taking in the good and bad from both cultures.
