Hi, it’s Steve from PartSelect. You’ve decided to change the drive belt on your washer,
let me show you how easy a job that is; no tools required just a little patience.
The very first step in this repair, is the same us usual, we need to disconnect the power
supply to the appliance.
The next step we need to do here is pull the washer ahead far enough so we have room to
tilt it back against the wall. Should use two people to move the washer it’s fairly
heavy, and if you can have somebody to steady it in place so it doesn’t tip forward on
you.
Now that we have access to the bottom of our washer, we merely roll the belt of these three
pulleys.
Take our new belt, reinstall in the same manner. Make sure all pulleys are clean and the belt
is seated firmly into all the grooves.
Stand our washer back down, push it back into place, and our repair is complete.
I told you that was an easy repair; thanks for watching, and good luck with your repair.
