SCOTT BROWDER: Okay a little variation on that cut backhand serve is to be able to actually
come out and around the ball a little bit with your arm and your shoulder out and your
elbow out and actually hit down and around so that the ball is going to kinda loop down
and around the net and actually kick up once it hits. You would think that a slice serve
would, when somebody makes contact with their paddle is going to die and normally they do,
but if you put a little bit of side spin on the ball and come up and loop around, it'll
actually cause a little bit of top spin to occur from the side and once it hits it'll
kick out to the side. And that's what we want to do is be able to put something on the ball
to make it bounce in irregular type of a manner where somebody is going to be guessing and
not being able to get a good offensive shot off of that. So what we're going to do is
again we're going to toss it, we're going to come down and we're going to come around
and try to arch it into the forehand court and we can also move--again move it around
and we can put it--hit it against the backhand court, so here we go. And you wanted to make
sure that your follow through is nice and high on this one 'cause that will put more,
more top spin on the ball. And again move your serve around, hit some down the middle,
and hit some down the other side and hopefully you'll win the point quite easily.
