Hi, I'm Jane from BlenditandMendit.com. Welcome. Today is day 15 of the 21 Day Avocado Smoothie
Power Plan that I'm doing. It's the book by Dr. Ariel Policano and Lori
Clayton, a raw food chef. And today I'm making the Fig-Berry Refresh
from page 14. It calls for one cup of water. One cup of ice.
3 fresh figs, or in the alternative I took 9 small, dried figs and I soaked them for
three hours and I'm gonna use the soak water as part of the one cup of water the recipe
calls for. 1/2 cup of berries. You can either use blueberries,
raspberries or blackberries or a mixture of them.
I have frozen blackberries in the freezer so that's what I'm going to use. 1/4 of an
avocado. And 1/4 tsp of cinnamon. Blend it up for about 30-45 seconds until
it's smooth. Pour into a pretty glass and enjoy.
Smells wonderful. Fig-Berry Refresh, let's check it out.

It's the figs and the berries together with that little dash of cinnamon, really delicious.
Creamy from the avocado, oh this is a wonderful blend. Ariel and Lori you really hit the spot
with this one.
