What if Germany Won WW2 Part 2 Hello and welcome back to Lifeís Biggest
Questions, Iím Ron McKenzie-Lefurgey.
Ever since World War 2, the citizens of the world have been wary of allowing a group like
the Nazis to rise again.
Following the events in Charlottesville, Nazis are once again in the forefront.
But what if they never left the forefront?
You wanted to know more after part one, so weíre back with a followup video on the subject.
Now buckle up, itís time to answer the question: What if Germany Won World War 2, Part 2!
In our previous video, we discussed general changes that could have happened in the world
with an Axis victory.
However, the world would be led by a number of people each with their own beliefs and
desires.
So, in this video, Iíll be focusing on the changes that each of the Axis leaders may
have made to the world, and particularly, their section of it.
First up: Benito Mussolini.
Benito Mussolini was the Prime Minister of Italy from 1922 to 1943, leading Italy through
most of the 2nd world war.
As the war turned sour, and things began to look dire for Italy, Mussolini began to lose
the faith of his people, with prominent members of his own government turning on him.
After a vote of no confidence was made, Mussolini lost his position and was arrested.
His successor, Pietro Badoglio, put on the appearance of continued war efforts, while
dissolving the Fascist party and negotiating an Armistice with the Allies.
Eventually, Badoglioís Italy would turn around and declare war on the Nazis in 1943.
However, if the Axis was successful in World War Two, thereís a good chance that Mussolini
would have remained in power.
This would allow him to bring about a number of things that did not come to pass in the
end.
Mussolini intended to restore, to an extent, the Roman Empire, planning to expand into
France, and along the Mediterranean.
If he remained in power, and was on the winning side, thereís little doubt that Italy would
gain a great deal of territory, in the south of Europe and in Africa, boosting it economically
and politically.
Furthermore, Mussolini despised religion, and Christianity in particular.
Throughout his career, he constantly spoke out against Christianity and the Catholic
Church, even going so far as to expel people from the party if they accepted religious
marriage.
While he did make peace with the church for a time to gain followers, he later returned
to denouncing religion.
In countries ruled by Mussilini, there would likely be significantly less religion, and
perhaps an outright ban.
Now we move on to Emperor Hirohito of Japan.
After the United States dropped nuclear bombs on Hiroshima and Nagasaki in 1945, Japan was
forced to surrender.
The following years were rough for Japan, with an occupation and restructuring led by
the Americans.
Their defeat led to the collapse of the Empire of Japan, replaced with Japan as we know it
today, more or less.
However, if Japan was to exit World War 2 in a position of power, they would be a near
unstoppable force.
Rather than collapse, the empire would continue to expand, until Japan had total control over
the Pacific Islands.
This would boost their production and economy to an incredible point, making them even more
of a global superpower than they are now.
Furthermore, tactics deemed acceptable in war would also change with an Axis victory.
While some arenít aware of this as itís often glossed over in history class, the Japanese
committed a number of terrible atrocities during the war.
Their war crimes include attacks on neutral powers, mass killings of minorities, human
experimentation, chemical weapons, and even cannibalism.
If they came out on top, future wars could involve similar tactics, and would be incredibly
brutal.
And now we come to the big one: Adolf Hitler.
We touched on this a bit in the last video, but itís worth expanding on further.
Had Germany been victorious in World War 2, they likely would have taken control of much
of Europe.
Adolf Hitler would be the most powerful man in the world, but would it be enough?
Some believe that after successfully exterminating those of Jewish descent, he would move onto
other minority groups, namely those of African descent.
However, Hitler himself actually had relatively progressive attitudes towards black people,
compared to others in his time.
Most of the negative things he said about them was almost an afterthought while focusing
his hatred on the Jewish people.
However, there is some disagreement on this point, as some scholars believe that a victorious
Hitler would ease off on these policies.
Before we wrap up, I think it important to note that simply because the axis powers got
along during the war, it doesnít mean that they would live in peace forever.
With several powerful conquering nations vying for control of the world, thereís a good
chance that a 3rd world war would be right around the corner.
Given the hunger for power shown by these countries, it could be that they would soon
return to fighting between themselves, potentially with the help of nuclear weapons.
Recently, scholars have begun to wonder if Hitler did these things in part for ***
gratification, essentially being the most effective serial killer of all time.
Many reports indicate that he did not engage in intercourse with his wife at home, and
one situation involving the actress Marianne Hoppe left some wondering about Hitlerís
sexuality.
In a new book ìHitler 1 and Hitler 2: The *** no-manís-landî, Hoppe claims that
at one time, she and Hitler watched a film involving French troops dying, and had what
seemed to be an *** as the troops died.
It could be that even after succeeding in the war, Hitler would continue fighting, even
against allies like Italy and Japan, in the name of *** gratification.
This *** aspect will, however, likely remain unconfirmed, so all we can do is speculate.
So now we return to our question: What if Germany Won World War 2?
(Um, Part 2) Mussolini would gain a great deal of territory in southern Europe and Africa,
and would likely work to minimize or completely remove religion from those areas.
Japan would potentially remain an Empire, gaining loads of land and boosting their already
high production.
Germany would take much of Europe, with Hitler standing on top of the new world, potentially
turning his sights on other minority groups.
However, this may not remain for long, as with so many aggressive leaders, not to mention
Hitlerís potential *** deviance, it could be that a third war would soon erupt.
