the david that means you know idea dot com
welcome to the show i have to get rid of the republican national convention stuff
because there's so much of it to talk about
by with thinking that one of the that meets the sidewalk outcomes of this
hurricane arctic but
i don't know of timing
situation with the republican national convention would be having to go to that
split screen turning on c_n_n_ of course boxes would do it but
turning on c_n_n_ and seeing that split screen were on one side you have the
proceedings at the convention
and the other side of the screen
you've got the hurricane the hurricane and and and is ramin
the all of the stuff that comes with the hurricane because
at some point i think that if it's sunny next week at the democratic national
convention
and people think back and they associate in their mind that terrible terrible
weather
going alongside
the republican national convention that it's gonna have
some kind of effect on voters i think i don't know uh... maybe i'm crazy to
think that
uh...
uh... i mean
maybe but uh... whether or not that would actually effects uh... how the
vote
uh... identity well it's one of these things were is anyone even really gonna
remember anything that was said in the speeches people just come away with
a sense of what took place certain highlights exactly and i feel like if
that sense has terrible weather and and uh... uh... state of emergency
it'll be somewhat negative don't you think that time
yeah i mean the way i feel when i see hurricane coverage is pretty much the
same way i feel when i see chris chris to give a speech
so i wouldn't doubt that the american people admission a natural disaster it
there was will get to that by the way that there was this theme that the
republicans said with it was going to kind of permeate the convention in the
repeal the gas today and two we built it of course
a reference to an out of context line put together by eliminating a lot of apa
rock obama said during a speech
to create a completely alternate narrative to what he was actually saying
remember that well they're turning this into basically the theme
of the republican national convention we built it
government didn't help
politicians didn't help
we built it
now of course they're doing this
inside
a tampa stadium
that was built with government money
so i guess they didn't even really build
that stadium
and they wouldn't have that place to do the convention if it weren't for
government
financing but that's ok that's ok louis right i mean
were where you see these double-standard yes we looked at what did maybe maybe
mean something else maybe they've built uh...
they built incredibly irrational way of going about politics
the tampa bay times former reno which is the site of the republican national
convention
was built by nineteen ninety six the cost a hundred and thirty nine million
dollars most of that cost eighty six million dollars was financed by public
money don't fall for the bs please don't created jobs t
uh... weber that's what they say the government can do
smaller government
but tell that to all the people that are now working in around the republican
national convention area
uh... stadium built by government money and jobs created incredible but we've
got to get rid of all that stuff and instead we need
stuff like for example when mitt romney had those
olympic flag pins predicts that created jobs
in china
where they were produced
many jobs jobs and jobs are going to john
america is that we are our economy is completely dependent on the chinese
economy so what difference does it make as though you're gone without yeah
chaos on the g_o_p_ convention floor
there's the incident i'm gonna play audio and video for you have
initially people thought that the crowd was brewing a porter weakened woman that
was speaking which would have been perfectly reasonable to assume that you
think willis
uh... tour
r_n_c_ yes it turns out that they were actually just chanting u_s_a_ u_s_a_ and
that they were angry over
some kind of controversy regarding electoral votes this is a bus shouting
match that are up to between the ron paul supporters
and the mit romney supporters of the convention was kind of getting going
and there were some votes happening on rules and credentials on the recognition
of of uh... delegates
people didn't like it now the timing was unfortunate because it didn't seem like
people we're just shouting down a porter recon speaker
which is like a really unfortunate
given these stereotypes of the republican national convention already
doesn't really care about them minorities and doesn't really cater to
them as you can see with the exception of a handful of people
like that uh... uh...
emailed african-american republican mayor from newt i'd believe it was
you don't really see that many minorities which is probably the reason
why
they put front-and-center
the uh...
uh... elected officials from border we go and their wives so on and so forth
but that being said let's take a look at some of the video here in the audio
but soak in some of the flavor
and the color louis of the republican national convention
people in cowboy hats yelling
with the porter recon woman on the stage
packard
and eventually of rinse ryan's marines will but i would like to pronounce it
predates jump in and said you know this woman has to be allowed to speak
i am you stand seeing them now that's the second now chat make sense that this
is about ron paul delegates
but why u_s_a_ amin shouting u_s_a_ and brewing
when there's a porter recon woman on stage one of the few uh... uh...
hispanic speakers at the convention
doesn't sound good it just doesn't sound good and also makes it seem like new
york realized for the rico's part of the u_s_
but admittedly giving the benefit of the dow it seems that u_s_a_ chant was
also related to
the ron paul delegates in some way
yeah very very bad timing but uh... we we can expect the people on the floor of
r_n_c_ to uh...
to understand that
back it networks nation i was interviewed by david shuster
and david shuster doing some great coverage at the republican national
convention and he
that'd g_o_p_ attendee was thrown out of the convention because they were
throwing nuts
at an african-american c_n_n_ camerawoman and yelling
this is how we feed
animals
black woman with a camera g_o_p_ attendee throwing not set them saying
that this is how we feed
animals
c_n_n_ is not confirming the specific details of this but they are saying
there was an incident
and the incident was
handled involved one of our employees inside the tampa bay times forum
there's no racism at all inside that republican national convention list
this could only happen
at r_n_c_
this this would never happen it does
d_n_c_
and if it did it would be by a g_o_p_ attendee at the d_n_c_ what do you think
of that idea grier's edison unfair stereotype there is that there's of
course racism
in every aspect of american culture that includes some democrats but
there's that's a different question of whether it's kind of institutionalized
racism is part of platform
you know it is a tough call but i think that we would lose on this
that this could happen
a billion times dot every time that you could not tell me a new you would have
to tell me which convention happened that every time i would guess r_n_c_
every time i would be right most of the times you would be right
billion times
buddy like those odds billion times you would be right outer now uh... nine
hundred ninety nine uh... no idea you know
uh... it's not clear also whether the culprit was a delegate
whether they were attending the republican national convention in some
other capacity we just don't know but but the bottom line is
black c_n_n_ camerawoman pelted with knots and told this is how we feed
animals very very nice ok let's get in some of the speech is number one nikki
hailey
south carolina governor republican of course
number one she seems kind of drunk to me
she did it the way she was delivering her lines was very very odd
and actually think that it's not that i'm comin if someone is making such a
big speech that they might take some
as an actress and added that if something like that the kind of ease the
nerves
seem really appeared to me in the way that she was speaking to the flooring
and it was a very strange delivery
which i cross check with other interviews of heard it's not always the
way she talks up i don't know what was up
or even listen to it nowhere now if it's completely worthless speak so we're not
gonna play any of it
who are working for through her doing an example of some of the slurry we do have
an example though of what she was wearing which a lot of people were
saying
uh... feeling in part of our speech one thing she did say it was at gmail
she supports the manufacturing industry
which is alive and well
and she's supporting south carolina and the way that she's supporting a
manufacturing industry is by wearing an outfit made of metal
yeah
wearing a manhole cover around your neck she decided enough as we have the boeing
situation boeing planes by the way some components being produced in my home
state of south carolina
aware an outfit made from the same metal that the planes are made up just a kind
of show his support
pretty nice yeah
weak so he weighs forty pounds then ana rani ok now n romney was supposed to
humanize mit romney
if you're waiting until six weeks before the election to humanize the candidate
you're probably in trouble that being said she did this whole speech how did
the speech start
this is how the speech started take a listen
plain talk she tonight
not about politics
and not about party
and while there are many important issues will hear discussed in this
convention and throughout this campaign
tonight
i wanna talk to you from my heart
our hearts
the travel clearly yelling we love you can
so then she went on even though she said this was an idiot speech about party
it was an interview speech about politics she did a speech that alluded
exclusively too partisan politics in the context of the two major political
parties so
a little bit of doublespeak going on with an romney
and it went through out i took a bunch of notes actually did in instant
backtrack and kind of instant that what you need to know video last night
on this
she says middle of his this country
yet but he keeps the money he made from outsourcing jobs to china in switzerland
and the cayman islands what's the deal with alice
uh... mom
i guess you just have to do that uh...
rules that uh...
this country can take care of itself right in front of this country doesn't
need to mit romney's not heal of the country so much
he wanted to be clear how great the country is
without any of his money and because if you were there were just everything he
had in the country r financial woes of the over
is that uh... and romulus of saying you know
women do have to work a little bit harder than that
well then why doesn't your husband think that they should earn just as much money
right now romney not supporting the louis ledbetter fair pay act
then this is where really got that
and romney talking about when they were in college saying
we were poor
all we were poor we were poor we were poor
until mit romney traded in those stocks that he had just a little bit of the
times that they could live without having to work
that was hard work will is you have to go down in there was an online trading
at that point you've got to meet with the stockbroker maybe make a phone call
maybe
fact something
and you've got to uh... you've got a range for the sale of a little bit of
those stocks that that tough work not everybody can do that and balance going
to school at the same time
sounds impossible to me i'm mean i don't know how they manage it's amazing that
he was able to do that
and then met also makes me laugh and romney set the allied when he joked
about the president being a foreigner the other day michigan like the only
joking zebra told in his life
appeasing the most extreme fringes of the republican party
she said she still makes her laugh that's nice
you know uh...
george bush made me laugh not right
uh... he did a lot of things that were funny sometimes even a jokes the reform
e yeah
the only he was president nothing that really does
intentionally or unintentionally
has made me laugh ann clarke began rom yet one point also said it's clear that
in its been sex i didn't know what that meant it was just a bit of a bit of a
verbal slip but funny nonetheless
she said that near
and then and romney said what else
other than that the
he built it
he built it
he built it on the backs of chinese labor which gave been propping capital
more profits on the backs of americans losing their jobs which added to bain
capital profits
and on the interest earned from his money
in foreign banks
that a hell of a job building it did
ye built an empire
and lastly she said
make is the man america needs
you contrast
now you can trust them to kill jobs to destroy women's rights
the stock market which we know does far worse than the republicans and democrats
common-sense logic decency in any sense of reason all would die under and that
run the presidency
so in a sense and runs right can you trust the guy who has to go by his
middle name not
that's not a lot of people in the middle ace
yeah come on you're running for president you know i've been using your
first name
how many times that happen in history when w mit romney without it
and i seem to remember that to white plains and how r
was like
actually david eisenhower by maybe ron saw him i thought it was no white david
isay why do you have you david too late
in reality the montana indicted in colloquial e river
are in the last thing we had chris christie okay chris christie
barely mentioned that ronnie what i did not even anything the comment on any
funny
chris christie thing for him at all about
being respected not being loved words and romney said it's all about love
let's listen to a little bit of chris christie speech here
increasing squeeze approaches she wall street
shows in the same path
so easy for our leaders who say not on something not now
picking on the really tough issues
ever forcibly we stood sap by
and let them get away with it
but tonight
i say enough
visiting
let's make a much different choice tonight we are speaking opt for
ourselves and stepping up
tonight were beginning to do what is right and what is necessary submit eight
american creek again ok which apparently means
what what do you can do to make america great again elect
buckner romney
the guy who has done so much to ad
to the bottom line of
china and so it's all in the cayman islands
i guess that's how we're gonna make america great was
sounds a great plan
by i'm one and one thing what's with the weird like grade school blue background
for like the class portrait
he's the only had that for every speaker unit the original plan
there were different backgrounds for different speakers but individually i
think it is it's an interesting choice here why why wouldn't it be read maybe
it just doesn't play well on camera
maybe they should have been like a jersey shorts background for
occurs chrissy the last question uh... i hope somebody asked matt romney at this
point which would be very telling would be met
would you rather take over the current economy
or the one the president or bombing took over
that's a bet i would i do think quote uh... mit romney
i think that ten thousand dollars
that any reasonable person would prefer to take over this economy than the one
the bronco obama took over
we should really tell us something
about all of these claims from the republican side about how bad the
economy is you can also count on me at deflecting a question like a champ
he would prefer to inherit this economy
the previous one none at all and all economies from recent history
but he's not gonna take a position on that because that would be then perhaps
he picked the chinese economy to have a few rather pick you'd rather do the
chinese economy at bain capital had its way
okay let's take a break a lot more to talk about when we get back at the bonus

welcome back to the david back-bencher
joining the is richard expel from campaign for america's future also
social security works
richard great as always to talk to let's start with joe biden's recent comments
about social security which are a big deal but because of all the other
political news that's been going on they've been largely ignored at least in
great detail but most of the mainstream media what did joe biden said first of
all
all well you know i'm wearing my idea
my glasses in order to quote and accurately even though i've been told
that make me look like seinfeld's dab but uh...
anyway
well you said was that this is about
a little more than a week ago and
and more close to two weeks now but he was doing anything prieta coffee shop
that coffee break cafe in stuart virginia and somebody brought up social
security or something in here here's what he said verbatim in
verbatim asd and import in this case he said
you know how bite me as you can picture paid by the way let's talk about social
security paid by the way let's talk about social security number one he sent
idea ranchi
slack guarantee you that there will be no changes in social security this is
from a pool reporter that the report is with them and they said one more time
five slash guarantee you now that's pretty strong stuff from an
administration that keeps talking about
you know bargains that include classes social security
i select your three guarantees to have been slack that there will be no changes
to social security benefits employees are not going to leave xx august fifteen
two sixty two so
nothing but that uh... to use biden's zone
phraseology i would call that a big f inbio sorry i won't start let's take it
piece-by-piece prior to this statement
indeed we have anything even remotely definitive from your bond administration
about the future social security
where we have is actually actors descendants now we think we have a good
even be described his descendants
was repeated statements from the president of social security should be
on the table as part of an overall deficit reduction package even though
social security's fruit for burdened by law from contributing to the deficit so
he said many times
names that they are
phraseology is that he used so small that folks wouldn't even notice which
isn't true they would be very noticeable so a number of times to president has
offered to cut social security benefits as part of a grand bargain viewpoint
epa's mentioned whose two cultures were both
not was saying that they wanted to see social security benefits cut sofa one
time the president has been angling to put this on the table he even was
planning according to reports to put it in his twenty eleven
a state of the union message internal citizen pressure forces back down to
spot
uh... it's clear that their positions and your opposite of that
up to this point and here comes joe barton
okay so now then let's take it since joe biden's comments have we seen any
follow-up from anybody in the obama administration about what you meant
and and has anybody even really tried to get an answer about this
and that's the key word park europe do you think back for example
was the first to make a comment about gay marriage ang and anderson back and
forth about that
and people don't need to use
joe had wandered off the reservation and then we could
the president made his comment about how we get involved in the issue of gay
marriage
now
in the meantime
he was asked to
despite the speaking for the administration the press secretary was
pride in speaking for the administration's there's been a bizarre
as far blinding all kind of radio silence about this lunch is did pride in
speaking for the administration's eve ministration as an elaborated to my
knowledge no reporter has even asked the president where the press secretary to
my knowledge what was joe biden talking about so there's been this bizarre
everybody wanted to talk about biden's chains comments and the president will
press secretary certain asked about that the president responded to it but nobody
has asked about are very
premiers
right now you would think that if it were the case that that biden is making
some kind of official statement reflecting the actual policy moving
forward
that that would be a big deal that we would be hearing from the obon a
campaign about because they would be such that it would be such a significant
thing
listener to attention here
we'll acts
lethal
weather
possibility but there are two or three different costs soini is but since since
biden said that and the president has given an interview to the associated
press where he once again and said well everything should be on the tape
democrats won't like presumably or possibly needing social security someone
one possibility eder talking you know
both sides of the mouth here possibility pedersen organization behind this
possibly see it was a trial balloon in
knit caps it is a big issue right back
respondents
the heck is going on i'd think people would be wise to jump on this and say
and we did
great statement the bride made were all for it
we want to hear it from the president sleeps we want to hear it from recent
gold's meant house that
and of all four we might you did garafolo by saying this every senator
prince on so i
of see people working on these discount
all right so we're gonna keep an eye on hopefully we will get some kind of an
answer soon we've been speaking with richard esco campaign for america's
future
social security where it's always great as always to talk to you
cooper
if ok with fake a break we'll be back with plenty more after this basis
david madman shelves and david jacqueline dot com
welcome back to the david adventure now let's go to michael sure political
correspondent for the young turks on current
cv
michael let's talk a little bit about yesterday's keynote speeches i kind of
did my instant analysis i had really the most to say about the and romney speech
because that was really about mit romney whereas the chris chris the speech was a
lot about
in getting respect but i didn't really find him to be talking that much
about
mit romney give me your overview of how you felt the first made a speech is what
well i mean you you don't use to use the basically overview in the hall it does
not deal electric
ari stored of all i ask somebody to
well i'm working with the at current who's been to a town of conventions
it's act it felt to me like this is what the bob dole
and ninety-six the bob dole but for most of bell place if that was even more
rockets
i don't know if it was the handover the hurricane i don't know who's the
uncertainty of what's gonna and today a fifth their they were going to suspend
the response your spending
the convention that f
people needed to go to a hurricane isaac i don't know what it was but there was
an electricity in the hall hall of course a lot of people could say well
it's the candidate
so all these speeches for played to a very sort of somber fault i'll be we
heard from people op
with somebody reluctant i guess is uh... a source inside the planning committee
the convention they were told to turn the volume up on all the music so it was
boisterous and loud
uh... when the music was playing in the halls just to kind of make it seem more
wide so
deet d_ the speeches themselves it's all good for fell on deaf ears but it took a
while the biggest okay she went to stop walker introduced but that was top by
rick santorum in
to go over the speeches rick santorum speak i'd think felt like the keynote
address cooks at this whole all
and chris christy's was the keynote to the rest of the country
uh... and that that's how they felt this fifty speech to me was the kickoff of
pristine twenty sixteen i get some good sanderson there i thought it was to get
really professional well delivered speech object it is what it keynote
speech is going to be about victory with a lot i said i think that group that was
it was
it was uh... a lot a lot of collado
you know a disputes are part of
misleading in that speech but it was a professional speech
and and that's what i thought and robbie apr your anybody here talking about how
this was just a blow away speech do you know anyone david's who's like talking
to a friend insane i really like when she said at
there's nothing that you can cite from anything that was said it separates p_c_
speech that was sort of the new left suite
loving wife
speech in the lobby came out at the end
really brief interlude with her and with the with the crowd
that seek you know and other years would have gone on much longer locations
comeback told me
there was none of that he was out there for like eleven seconds and then left
yet it is strange that you know the and romney's featured funny because i'm and
surprised
outside of the convention greens and so to speak
yeah before the speech everybody was saying it's gonna be incredible she's
going to be wonderful it's gonna turn everything around today humanize mit
romney
which by the way if you're waiting till six weeks before the election to
humanize the guys you're probably in trouble
but what it was almost like written on the wall because afterwards on t_v_ and
on blog center they were saying exactly that which is now missus america it was
incredible so on and so forth
but i'm curious
was that the attitude inside the convention
it was a caravan everybody of course that everybody inside the convention and
the media also the ones that are putting that out making making the statement
that this is going to solve them the candidate it setter
however what what
showed through was that she gave a speech that while it was really
important that kept adjusting schedule to make sure it dot prime-time coverage
i think didn't do
sported everyone inside the green so do you describe here which is accurate
uh...
did everybody here did feel that there was something magical about it was sweet
it was
you know above criticism but it was certainly well below adulation i think
that was the
the problem with her speech last night it will be for gotten i think that the
annals of uh... of convention speeches but i think they're going to be club
clips and both respuestas beat not for manorama speech in down she seems like a
nice moments and she but she didn't
create a bond speaker of the minuteman alas
crew much like newt gingrich said about mit romney
particularly dislike and romney right now
right i don't particularly like i have nothing gets errata i couldn't care less
dot perfringens
general and i really but what i mean
barbara bush annoying during katrina but she was
well beyond beepers look persuaded that what are really couldn't care less i i
feel like
kindof obviously we're going to be curious about the four-day interview the
people going to talk to them we're gonna wonderbra opinion women in their
opinions backups i could not care less of but she does seem like a lovely woman
she's a sincere woman she's that into a lot with breast cancer and at nasa
present five
but isn't yes she did a quick you know in it and that
and the way it did not many americans can do it but she did it and at so i i
couldn't care less about that but if it was for jobs
to stick to america that her husband is more than what we know already that she
didn't do that job last night but
all right michael shore political correspondent for the entire time
currency
we're going to watch the speeches tonight and we'll check in with you
tomorrow thanks as always
our database
by louis what's your thought of the republican convention so far i mean is
it moving you what's what's your opinion
is in moving the award well and i think that is
i guess making the best of it that situation now i mean not just
considering that the weather
uh... but their candidate having their army just seems like there's there's not
much enthusiasm
among a lot of the party leaders
and they're just doing what they can i mean that that's about it
all right let's check in with luke vargas
in tampa at the republican national convention
welcome back to the david packard show but check a tin can but the republican
national convention first with luke vargas from talk radio news service
luke we already talked about the speeches but you've been telling me
there's some kind of interesting back story as a result of the two
first days being compressed into one there's been some weird timing with some
of the different
uh... onstage visuals and things that are going on part of the bout that
well the ronnie campaign an r_n_c_ official seem to dump a great job of
convincing august beaches which is one of the things they had to do after the
storm
canceled that first day of but i think they've may have left out some logical
gaps the first thing i really notice yesterday was when the prime time
session began there is a gentleman by the name of neal boyd a quite a large
guy he only twenty five years old and he came out a single leant lee greenwood sc
god bless the u_s_a_ which is a very popular ten-year and he was so large it
seemed that he couldn't even stand so we had a slump against this store uh... if
you do sang the song and he was followed by meal of who is the mayor of
uh... i believe it's cerrito saratoga springs utah she's a new darling of the
republican party and the footage that was playing behind her on stage was of
her are running on a treadmill talking of how much personal health meant to her
and it just seemed to me he did give the first ironic thing
enacted after that there is a liberal pops of next to me too
who reminded me that you know sort of soaked appreciation and and perception
of irony is not receive one of the republican uh... strong suits and it was
evident last night yet well i mean i guess love plate but the devil's
advocate maybe the republicans and has been really open here because they're
saying listen if you have
a weight problem that's okay
and if you're not able to keep fit that's okay but we also understand the
importance of you know how i i'd nutrition and fitness which is also
something that they seemed almost be disgusted about when it's michelle obama
talking about the merits of course
well you can't have it both ways you gotta everyone shattered but they were
was like this all throughout the speech less that the other one you've probably
talked about you know you've got two candidates saying they want to tell love
stories including our pastor new pastor uh... ted crews in texas and then uh...
chris christy coming out there and saying i want to be respected more than
love so this whole
major night of the convention replete with these sort of a logical
inconsistencies yet the funny thing about that is the kind of fits into the
mood of uh... it's really a microcosm of mit romney isn't it on the one hand
he's for that's on the other hand he's against that on the other hand he's not
taking a position
and on the other hand held take any position that you like and we'll get you
to vote for me it's kinda like that but the focus is love the focus is respect
the for the you know it's it's almost like a microcosm of the romney
flip-flopping
trevin only set up out of their seats during that maybe they did during an
army speech which i wasn't wild by at least as much as some of it
the papers that i'm reading here would seem to be well but when when chris
christie started talking i mean he spent
a long time before you ever talked about net romney and most of the giving of
that speech
in my eyes at least was sort of introducing teams that have not been
present at all throughout new run campaign or through what we associate
with mitt romney which is that he really does like to be
the loved
more than he likes to be respected because of the heart blind positions he
takes at least rings campaign has has chris chris they've been kinda hang
around there between adventure but i i think the speeches he's seen walking
around or what's he doing
i'd believe he was seen walking around uh... earlier yesterday as well as
sometime on monday but i havent ran into him brian really read it in and either
of those days
buddy i haven't seen him since the speech so maybe he's a
cut-up but if they present have a break
and alert so he has no reason to run a look at
hard so tonight we're going to see paul ryan is going to kind of wrap up the

near lot of people would know that
rush limbaugh came up with an idea
for hurricane isaac and i'm using the term idea very very loosely
he says it let's get rid of poor democrats and louisiana
by building some levees out of money here's the audio from his radio program
talking about this will take a listen louis first thing we do
is offered a standard five hundred bus drivers
to new orleans paid for my us
to make sure that the buses that were not used by the democrat mayor during
hurricane katrina will be used
to evacuate people should it become necessary
the second thing that i think the republicans want to do is sand bags of
money instead of saying and
bags full of money to shore up the levees in new orleans this would
accomplish many things it would show our trip
okay to me was the idea that was yes
we did okay
so there's a rush limbaugh's idea let's send bags of money
to shore up the levees and when he goes on to say as he talks about how it would
uh... he's very angry that c_n_n_ af
the romney boys what it's like to be so rich so somehow
it would be connected to that in rush limbaugh's mind
and um... then he says the poor of new orleans will stormed the levees
and steal the bags
thereby putting themselves at risk for the eventual flooding that will happen
once they take the bags of money down
that way republicans can get rid of even more democrats in louisiana and shore up
the state's for themselves
again rush limbaugh sometimes says he's a comedian so like we said something
offensive like this like for example
were a lot of people actually did die because of all of these and hurricane
katrina
let's get rid of more black democrats by uh... teasing them with bags of money
from the romney boys because there's a rich so then the land of killing
themselves because they're so stupid they wouldn't realize if you take the
bags down benefits it will flood when it when people are offended and they called
rush out on this by twenty said center focus a *** or whatever
he's a he's a comedian
he's doing comedy
he never says anything that's fine all of his jokes just are very funny
he's the least funny comedian ever say you hand it sees only comedian when it
comes to things that offend people it's funny i mean he never has a comedian
when it comes to things that make people laugh it's anytime he's offended someone
he was doing comedy because he was doing comedy but there is some
there is some
validity to what he's saying because
personally i've
i've stopped being offended by anything he says that if you consider a comedy
pretty much i mean i think is we've got to the point where i mean he says thing
strictly to offend but there's a difference though between finding rush
funny
and what you were saying which is you find rush to be a parity of himself
which is that which is very different than i think i think rushes hilarious
i'd love a lot of fun is
apparently he thinks is pretty funny he does seem to
the conspiracy theories about this hurricane isaac are quite real
i'd openly talk that i have seen a really your comments about god and god's
affect on
the hurricane and the connection to the republican national convention
there was a news report and it's like i hate to even use the term news report
because it's complete nonsense but there was something presented as if it were a
news report using the format that we're accustomed to seeing news in on pat
robertson's christian broadcasting network where they said it was like a
report on people who were praying
to move the hurricane
so that the conventions would happen i mean this is just so serve the fickle
look at this report
report
but gratitude at a predominant attitude in campus christian circles
as it looks like the city will escape much of isaac track
reverend jackson peters is part of an effort to cover the party conventions
like rare and she says is that plenty of prayer about i'd taken the last few days
we have had a lot lots of people praying uh... around-the-clock that equipment to
enact you watch
that from the very beginning where they were saying it was cunningham now with a
payment feeling and it has really made out at the playground ended recreate god
gave and it made it back
wildlife
what out life lays down the imagined there praying round the clock to move
the hurricane for the r_n_c_
imagine being the one who's past with the third shift
in other words the doing around the clock imagine if they come to you in a
safe
remove in the hurricane for the r_n_c_ through prayer
uh... i don't know this is kind of annoying but you've got the midnight to
eight a_m_ shift on that you can have to do the prayer during that
timeslot
why would a light isolina what this is incredible why don't they just
uh... pray twenty four seven for the economy to be fixed and and for
urge opera we'd be all set everything would be sticks by that
who are obviously go it it does make sense god is involved in the internal
politics and specific weather patterns of one country
on one planet
in one galaxy in the universe that god created
because he's retired now
not off social security off of the stuff he built of course he built it god built
it he had people the the eternal he built it built everything no question
about it
all right let's go to your voice mail till you david
two one nine to david p bizarre voicemail line it's available for you
twenty four seven
here's one voice mail that was last what left for us live uh... let's listen and
respond
you know anti-incumbent air
and i wanted to and commend you on
your into playing later special when you're talking about black and white
people uh... and find that in archaic it's really hard to today pixar by
people like manpower white folk
here you can work black
uh... informality of african-american
michael crowley african-american and i don't want to pay
average among i don't think that i was really really glad to hear you
having action like that
and any open i think it's healthy uh... and not great estimate from people
kankakee etc and abducted by eating
because you're right that fine people factory or ethnicity whatever and we'll
be happy to went beyond colorblind and i think it was a really good way to get to
the public so this is a really good point actually that rose making here and
we talked about this before in the times talked about a lot which is
sometimes when you take political correctness to the extreme you start
using terms that are no longer even meaningful enroll points out the exact
way that that happens in order to not call black people black
sometimes use the term african-american many times you have black people who are
not african-american and it's actually just an incorrect term so this is a
great example and you know the difference when someone is is using the
term black or white or jew in a way that is insulting and when you're just
talking about
a type of people you're talking about are finding category stick you're
talking about a defining characteristic and this is the the egg exactly sample
but you think the town of what we were talking about
yeah absolutely uh... leakey said sometimes when you're talking to
realistically black-and-white refers to your skin color not to any
societal definition of the word race ethnicity nationality geographic origin
exactly so if you're talking about people that are and and uh... upon them
black makes perfect sense i don't see how you can refrain from using their and
choose a politically correct term that is more confusing
absolutely
there's a lot of racial paranoia out there and uh... because at that
that's what ends up happening and there's a lot of real racism out there
to tell understandably table are sensitive to these things that lesson
about it
motor racism was a so we're really profound uh...
racial paranoia wouldn't be there either ivory with you
on the bond now the top of the fox news outing the navy seal involved in the
killing of osama bin laden
some people critical that we didn't believe individuals named when replying
the fox report saying hey guess what
you just got it and again i'm unsubscribing to your channel four it if
you really cared about this guy in his identity you wouldn't have
kept putting his name out there so damn fox news and damn you
not everyone agrees hey he was added by major news corporation david pacman an
independent media outlets reporting on it
is not going to make a difference once your outed there is no second outing
i thought of l_a_ that line of reasoning i guess
if your comment on that story was irrelevant because you're a small-time
use provider
but i guess
everything you say is irrelevant because you're a small-time news no i think what
they're saying is that
once the name has already been put out a it doesn't matter if i believed it
i'd seen i don't like the idea that because were small were not influential
and push a little
another posed implied to be honest
well i mean obviously uh... agree with uh... with the latter common here
uh... thank you list
and on the anti-gay activists school teacher and now under arrest for
molesting many many young boys if he is solely into young boys that makes them a
pet arrest if it specifically children of either sex
