Rainshow’r CQ-1000DS Shower Filter Hey everyone, Tony the Filter Doctor here.
Today we’re looking at the Rainshow’r CQ-1000DS.
This is a shower filter that is aimed primarily at reducing chlorine, but the powerful KDF
media inside the filter will also take care of hydrogen sulfide, more commonly known as
rotten egg smell. It also uses a crystalline quartz media that
essentially reduces the surface tension of the water, causing it to have a unique skin
feel. Now, this unit includes the Whedon shower
head that is designed to produce a shower spray that feels like five gallons per minute
when it’s actually only using 2.5 gallons per minute or less.
The filter cartridge has a filter life of approximately 25,000 gallons, and it’s easily
replaced by simply unscrewing the unit, pull it out, throw it away, stick a new one in
its place, reattach, and you’re back in business.
You’ll love the benefits of chlorine-free water. Your hair and skin will not be as dry
and will be softer and more manageable, and if you have color-treated hair it won’t
fade to its original color as quickly. And also, some people just have a sensitivity
to chlorine, they just can’t be near the stuff. It really isn’t that great to shower
in, and if you haven’t experienced it before, you’ll love it!
Again, this is the Rainshow’r CQ-1000DS, and I’m your host Tony the Filter Doctor.
Thanks for watching.
