Alhamudlilahi Rabbul Alameen, Astagfirullahil azeem wa atubu ilayh
on this blessed day of jummah, we are asking Allah SWT through the station of the Prophet ASWS
and all those beloved ones to forgive us
forgive us because we are weak ones living in this ahir zaman
the small things that we are supposed to be carrying, we are dropping
we cannot drop it
inshallah Allah will give us more strength to carry this
because we are right at the end now and if we are not going to carry this, we are going to cry a lot on the judgement day
so many people are crying, they were here when Seyh Effendi was warning over and over again
we are saying over and over again
they don't want to listen
they are crying now
because when the fire of regret burns from inside, you wish to have the fire of Jahannum then that time
because the Jahannum is just a fire from the outside
but when you have regret, the fire from that regret will burn you from the inside
and unless you yourself know that you have been forgiven for the things that you have done
that they are continually warning you against
if you don't put out that fire, then it is going to be a very terrible thing
because the fire of hell is the outside
and for that Awliyaullah, Prophets, so many holy ones, it will be easy for them to put a shield between you and the fire
but who is going to put the shield between you and the fire that is inside of you
if man goes out from this world without asking for forgiveness, without understanding the wrong things that he has done, without really regretting and running to fix that
if he is not going through that and he passes still arrogant, stubborn, proud, then those are the qualities that Holy Prophet ASWS is saying I will not intercede for them
there is no intercession for them
that's why tarikats are concentrating on these 4 major things that Holy Prophet is saying if you don't try to get rid of it here in this world, my intercession is not for you.
and these are the four qualities that the tarikat must be concentrating on - that the murshid must be concentrating on - that the jamaat must be concentrating on
Anger and the stubbornness, arrogance and jealousy
if we are not looking at the thousands of tricks and traps of our egos, and how Shaytan is fooling us, and we are not trying to fix it here, we have a long journey ahead that is going to start from the grave
we may escape like this or like that in the world, but in the grave we cannot escape - we cannot turn, we cannot move around too much, nothing.
they are saying oh yes you that are in the grave, when you were walking on top of me, the earth is going to say to us
although you are part of me, buy you were walking on top of me as if you are my ruler - the one who has authority over me instead of understanding that you are part of me
and you are going to return to me
and the whole idea is how we are going to return
walking on the face of this earth proudly, that Allah SWT is saying pride is forbidden to my creatures, pride is for Me.
and man, finger tall man, and the man that is being arrogant and stubborn and walking on top of the world and doing whatever that he wants - moving himself freely
saying I am a free man, I have freedom, I can do whatever I want - nobody must tell me what to do
submit to a person? What is this? Are we living in the dark ages to submit to a man?
we are free people, we are enlightened, civilized, we make up our own minds
I make up my own destiny, nobody tells me what to do
Yes, if nobody tells you what to do than don't die
don't grow old, don't get sick, don't go through any heartache
hmm... you are going through that
if you are going through that then Allah is reminding you - you are My creature
you are still My creature and I have authority over you
come back to Me - return to Me
and return to Me as I brought you into this world - pure
return to Me as I brought you into this world through your mothers womb - pure and clean and innocent - without a touch of sin
we don't believe in original sin, we believe in original innocence, original purity
and when we understand that we have moved away from that original purity, and when we understand that our return is back to that original purity, then we are going to find ways and means to be clean again - to go back
because if not, if we are not getting rod of the dirtiness of this world, dirtiness of our ego, then this earth is going to clean that up
dirt, they call it. Ground, because it grinds.
then that earth will grind us, that is just the first step, if the earth is not finished with the job of grinding us to make us clean and pure to go back to Allah
then may Allah protect us from that
then on the Day of Judgement is going to be a big trouble for mankind, for us
how are we going to pass the sirat? the sirat that is so dangerous
then if we are not finishing that time, that is what the hellfire is for
to clean us, to make us return back to our Lord pure
and Allah SWT is being merciful again, showing so much mercy and love to His creatures
giving us intelligence, with intelligence alone we can find Him
giving us haya - modesty
with just this modesty, the man may know what his relationship is to this world and to the creator of this world
and Allah has given man intelligence, haya, and faith
faith - a belief in the unseen
and understanding that there is an unseen, and that unseen is what is controlling what is seen, what is physical
anyone of these we may find our Lord
but Allah SWT did not leave us alone, He has sent us Prophets
not one, 124,000 prophets
and he has sent us the inheritors of the prophets - His friends
the friends of Allah
and these friends of Allah are calling us and saying, oh mankind, as the prophets did...
our return is back to Allah - we do not come from this world, this is not our originality
and our end is not to this world, that we are just going to be finished in this world and there is nothing - no
our originality is a paradise, and our destination is a paradise - it is our original home
and Allah's will is that we return back to our home, to paradise, it is not Allah's will to punish us, to bring us to the fire
we bring fire to jahannum, there is no fire in jahannum
and Allah SWT on top of it has given us free will, the most important thing
that makes us separate from the animals and also from the angels
that Allah has honored us with this freewill that he has not given to any creature
and with this freewill we can understand the will of Allah
with this freewill we can know Allah
we can worship Allah
the will that he has given to us, the intelligence, haya, modesty, and faith will say to us
give back the free will that he has given to you
He has given us a free will, give back the freewill to Him
once we give our freewill back to him, what happens?
something bad is going to happen?
we are going to loose our identity?
or we are going to find our real identity?
what happens when the free will that Allah has given us, and we say ya Rabbi, I return this to you
I am not going to use this
I am going to return it to you
that is what all prophets came to teach us
Allah has given you free will - turn back to him, return it to him
all spirituality is that - all tarikat is teaching us that
Allah has given us a free will to use, and we are saying this free will, ya Rabbi, I return it to you because there is something higher than this free will
there is something more important than this free will, there is something more valuable and holy than this free will that you have given us - that sets us apart from the angels and animals and everything that Allah SWT has created that we know and we don't know
and what is that?
it is the Divine will
it is Allah's will
and that is when Allah SWT is saying the servant will come closer to us
when he is doing things that is not obligation to him - We love him when he does the things that are obligation to him
it is obligation - and Allah loves us
we have no choice
but Allah says I will love that servant who fulfills his obligations to me
and when that servant not only fulfills his obligation, but something is boosting and motivating him to say why I have to sit? My Lord is loving me
because when Allah loves that one, that one must feel the love
that servant must feel the love of Allah
he must understand and know and feel and experience the favors of our Lord
that Allah has created us and is continually giving us this breath of life and the favors because of His love for us
for the sake of that holy one, for the sake of the Prophet ASWS - but we are not going to enter into that today
and when that servant understands that Allah loves us, the servant must say I want to come near to our Lord, to Allah
everything we experience in dunya must teach us about something in Ahirat
if you love something, someone, your husband, wife, children, there are different kinds of love
the one that is most beloved to you - take whatever it is
you want to come closer to them, isn't it?
you want to come closer and closer and closer
and you want to be together with that one always and to disappear into that one
if you use that for the love of this dunya, you are going to be in trouble
because that kind of love is only for Allah
but he is making us to understand a little bit from this world, experience a little bit from this world
this is not an experience that they are saying only the arif are going to know, only the scholars are going to know, only the educated, highborn people are going to know
no - this is a feeling that everyone feels
and everyone understands, especially in this 21st century
everyone is continuously talking about love, love, love
from the beginning to the end, especially the West - they are talking about love as if they never found it
because if you find love you are not going to talk about it so much, you are going to be love
you are going to show love
that was already found, it was already given to us
1400 years ago, when this love become complete
when the Islam become complete
when the moon became full - there is no more perfection left now
Islam came with the Holy Prophet ASWS and it is perfect
so that servant understands that - he must understand that now Allah loves him - and the law of love is that you want to come close to that one that you love
you don't want to be away, you don't want to be apart
so Allah is saying when he comes closer to Us, I will be his eyes that he will see, his ears the he is going to hear, his hands that he's going to touch, his feet that he's going to walk with
what does that mean?
that doesn't mean, of course, like what a lot of foolish people are thinking - you are becoming Allah - hasha astagfirullah!
Never are we going to become Allah, tawba astagfirullah
the ego, everyone's ego, is declaring that
saying you are you and I am me
the ego is the only creature that is declaring lordship
in all of creation, the ego is the only one that is declaring lordship
Shaytan is not declaring lordship - Shaytan is not an enemy to Allah like what the Christians say, enemy of God - no.
Allah is subhan, Allah is sultan, Allah does not have a formidable enemy - a rival, an opposite - no.
that means you still have not understood your Lord, you still have not understood One.
not two - move away from this duality, move away
they made it worse - from two...
at least the ancient Persians they believe in two, instead of just sticking there or making it one and a half, they make three
Allah Allah, now we are in bigger trouble
so believing in that One, and that Shaytan is not an enemy to Allah - he is an enemy to man
because Allah is subhan, Allah is sultan
so now that Shaytan is the enemy to man, and Allah SWT is saying don't worship to that Shaytan
don't be a slave to Shaytan, don't serve Shaytan
if you ask today's 2 billion Muslims are you serving Shaytan they will say no, of course not! tawba astagfirullah!
I am not serving Shaytan, I am not worshiping Shaytan!
but what does it mean now, Muslims say they are not worshiping Shaytan
if you ask they say I say the shahada, we worship only Allah
but what does it mean when you worship, what does it mean when you serve? Yes...
who do you serve now?
if the majority of the Muslims are running after the dunya and following their ego, then they are worshiping Shaytan
because the dunya and the ego especially is getting it's power and direction from nothing but Shaytan
so when Allah SWT is saying don't worship to the Shaytan - he is your open enemy, he is not a hidden enemy
he is an open enemy, don't worship to the Shaytan
Muslims are saying we are not worshiping to Shaytan, we are worshiping Allah
then why Allah is warning us?
that means someway somehow we are serving Shaytan
if Shaytan is an open enemy
so there is a hidden enemy
and with the help of this hidden enemy
hidden deep inside of us
this hidden enemy is opening the gates to welcome Shaytan in without us knowing it
so although we are saying that we are not worshiping to Shaytan
but if that individual, that group is serving only what the ego is saying without obeying what Allah has said and what Allah has sent
Prophets, books, and the inheritors of the Prophets
if that one is saying we don't need all this, it is only between me and my Lord
according to my understanding
then the enemy that is inside has already opened the gates and welcomed the enemy that is outside
and once you are following what Shaytan is saying, you are serving him
if you are serving him, may Allah protect us, you are in face worshiping him.
so Allah SWT is saying when you come close to me, whatever that you are doing it is not coming from you anymore, it is coming from My will
and My will will control your eyes, your ears, tongue, hands
because now you have given the will that I have given you - the free will that I have given you - you have returned it to me
and you say I am not going to use my will, I am going to use Your will
because now the servant becomes closer when he does what?
not obligations, the non-obligations - supererogatory
sunnats.
then that time comes closer to Allah
impossible for a person to come closer to Allah when he is doing the sunnats of RasulAllah ASWS without submitting, obeying, and loving that Prophet
and whom the Prophet has sent for him in these times for him to come to that awakening station, that awakening understanding
so this is for us to return to our Lord, this is the job of the Prophets, the task of the Holy Prophet ASWS
that Allah SWT has shown to him - his nation
which is the biggest nation that ever Allah has given to any prophet
and it is the most beautiful nation
the most blessed and honored nation, and he was happy, but the nation turned itself and became dirty, disobedient, arrogant, and stubborn
so angry, envious, running after the dunya and desires, the ego and Shaytan
then when Holy Prophet is seeing the reality of how the beautiful lights that are representing his nation became really dark, he started crying
and Allah SWT is saying oh my Prophet, your job, your task, your responsibility is to return your nation to me exactly the way that I have sent them - pure, clean, and innocent
I have created them like that, and your job is to make sure that they return to My presence in that way
the inheritors of the Prophets are concentrating on this
to make us to return to Allah in our purity, in the innocence, in our originality
and there is not way to do that except to concentrate on the ego
when something is dirty, how are you going to clean it?
when something is dirty, you must take the dirt out - isn't it?
you ever heard of someone saying, don't take the dirt out, take the clean out.
so those who are saying just concentrate on the clean, just take the clean out, leave the dirt and we don't care about it
meaning concentrate on your spiritual stations, then that time there is a big danger
because all the holy prophets and the Holy Prophet ASWS, they did not come to just concentrate on that
give people good news, of course, time to time, those ones who understand, those ones who have come to a maturity and understanding in what their Lord is asking from them
but the prophets came to give warning, to say take out the dirtiness and return back to your Lord clean and pure
and when we do, the first step to returning back to your Lord is to submit
submit what? submit our will
and that from the beginning of time to the end, is the most difficult thing that is facing man
to give their will
inshallah ar-Rahman, may we achieve that station one day
at least we are saying because of the love that we have for our Seyh, for us to be with him
dirty as we are, corrupt as we are, may we be the dirt under his shoes
then wherever he goes, we will follow
