Not all of us have tons and tons of makeup brushes, but that doesn’t mean that you
can’t play around with fun and colorful makeup looks.
Hey everybody, it’s Himani. Welcome to my first ever Touch-Up Tuesday where I will show
some of the best makeup techniques, and we’ll do fun makeup tutorials. Let’s get ready
for a party today. Yeah, it’ll be fun! I’ll show you how to create this colorful and modern
smokey eye look which is perfect for party, clubbing, or any other special event using
just your fingers. It is also perfect if you had a sleepover
at your friend’s, and you don’t really have makeup brushes with you. So, that’s
really good! There’s something about this look that makes me feel so glamorous and confident.
I hope you enjoy watching this tutorial, and let’s jump into it.
Simply put an eyeshadow primer of your choice if you have got it. But if don’t have, don’t
worry because you can put concealer and set it with powder. It helps the makeup last longer
and look brighter. I love this trick. Now I am taking a blue eye pencil. I’m using
my Sigma eye pencil in ‘My Cloud’ from ‘Born to Be Collection’. I love them.
They are buttery soft and very pigmented. Only apply on the inner part of the lid and
on the lower lash line, and blend it with your ring finger which will be our blending
brush today! A lot of you guys on my Instagram wanted me to do a tutorial on the Sigma ‘Born
To Be’ Collection. So, I will use a lot of items from the collection in this video
for you. Then I will take my Sigma’s ‘Indigo Bird’
eyeliner which is indigo blue in color, and apply it right next to the light blue color
here. Make sure that you have the outer corner empty, and I will show you why soon. Then
we are going to blend that as well. It is starting to look fantastic already. I love
the gradual color grading going on here. To give it a smokey look, I will use this
brown-black eyeliner from Sigma, and use it just to draw the outer V like that. See how
it is starting to look like a V in the outer corner? That is what we are going for. We
are just going to make it look really bold and sultry, and that is why we left this area
untouched before. This time, since it is more precise sort of
a look, I will use my ring finger to blend the outer V area. Patting the color really
makes the color one with the skin. You can use Q Tip as well.
If you have got oily skin, or you wanted to make your makeup last longer, try putting
powder eyeshadow on top of it. Rabia from my Instagram, I hope you are watching this
because this is the tip that you had asked for. I will use my index finger to pack on
this gorgeous blue color from the ‘Smoke Screen Palette’ from Sigma. These eyeshadows
are super-pigmented, and they blend very well. I love them. I will also use the black here
just in the outer V area with my pinkie finger. It is time for eyeliner now and mascara, but
before I do that, I will highlight the inner corner as well, and I will define my eyebrows
with the same eyeliner pencil. An awesome tip with the foundation is to actually
stipple it onto your face with your fingers. It is actually going to melt the product onto
your skin, and it really lasts long. And also use a tissue that has been split into half
because it is going to soak up the excess oil. You can actually use a cotton wool pad
to pack on pressed powder onto your skin. I actually find that this gives a better coverage
that just using your brush. Next I am using the highlighting concealer
from Maybelline. And I am putting it underneath my eyes, the bridge of my nose and on my chin
area. I am going to start to blend it, so, it is going to be my highlighter without having
to pack on shimmers because you are going to be clubbing. You don’t really want shimmers
to go all over your face when you are dancing. Again, we are going to make the concealer
a part of our skin by starting to pack it on our skin using stippling motion. It really
blends into the skin nicely. Then we are going to set it with the pressed powder with the
cotton wool pad again. To make your blush last longer, use a lipstick
on the back of your hand, and stipple it onto your cheeks. It is another really good tip
to really make sure you have subtle hint of color.
Next I am using Sigma’s lip gloss called ‘Get Ready’ which is a nudey-peachy color
that goes so well with the smokey eye look. I love how this look is so wearable, and you
can customize it to make it any color of your choice. If you like this video, don’t forget
