Hey, hey, everyone, It’s Africa!
And I’m just out here on my balcony, kind of enjoying the calm before the storm.
You know for me, I think it's hurricane Harvey is coming.
It's bearing down on South Central Texas and I'm in South Central Texas, and the rain hasn't
started here yet, not quite yet.
But it's so odd how still and quiet it feels outside right now.
I can't even hear the birds I normally have chirping in the trees all around me.
I can't even hear them chirping, like nothing!
It’s crazy and I thought, you know, animals always know when something's about to happen
and they get themselves into place, before the storm hits.
And I really think that in our lives we really know when something is about to happen.
If we take the time to be still and listen, we know when it's about to happen.
There are signs or signals, just like these animals know.
There are signs and signals something big is coming, but the issue is, I think, we don't
listen.
That we haven't really been still with yourself enough, that we have so much going on in our
lives and we're just almost hyper-stimulated, over stimulated, to the point we can't hear
our own intuition.
We don't see those signals from people, that body language that tells us something is coming.
Something is about to happen and we would actually have time to prepare for it, if we
would only listen.
All right, I know that was a random thought, so the question is, do you know when it's
coming?
Do you know?
Have you slowed down enough, have you been quiet enough and still enough with yourself
to know when it, whatever it is, is coming?
I’d love to hear your thoughts in the comments on when you were able to realize something
was happening, were you able to formulate a response, or maybe head it off at the pass
all together.
All right, talk to you later, Bye!
