Hello attackers, welcome to Wednesday October 9th. We've got quite a bit to cover today
on the show including a new round-table for The Elder Scrolls Online, Space Combat for
Star Wars the Old Republic, Forbidden Instances in Age of Wushu and more!
Every few weeks the developers at Zenimax Online and Bethesda have released a new round
of community questions in their aptly titled "Ask Us Anything". The Dev answers have only
been able to slightly appease our hunger for more information about the game, and while
some of us slave over our inboxes to find that golden ticket of a beta invite, the rest
of us normal-folk let our info come to us. This week they discuss how weapons will look
between different races and classes, whether or not we will be able to resurrect other
players in PvP, if there will be certain famous armor sets and Veteran Points for end-game.
The full Ask Us Anything is linked in our article below.
During the PAX Community Cantina event last month, Bioware released a teaser trailer that
led many to believe that space combat was on the way in Star Wars the Old Republic.
And last night, our prayers were answered with a brand new highlight video for the upcoming
expansion Galactic Starfighter, that features .. yeah you guessed it, Space Combat! Players
will have the opportunity to engage in intense dogfights with up to 24 players as you swirl
and twirl around asteroids, explosions and of course wookies. What are your guys thoughts
on finally getting a chance for aerial combat in the old republic? Is it a long time coming?
Snail Games recently announced the contents of the highly anticipated Forbidden Instances
update in Age of Wushu. The forbidden instances have been created as the ultimate test of
your personal strengths and abilities, with each instance being carefully designed to
ensure they can challenge even the most skilled of players. Each of the 8 martial arts schools
in the game has their own instance with charming names like, Great Poison Palace, Wooden Monk
Lane, Cavern of Lost Souls and the ever so enchanting Apricot Forest.
Lastly Tactical Intervention is now officially launched as of today. The first person shooter,
which has been in open beta since the end of August has undergone four major updates
that took players valuable feedback and suggestions into consideration. With the full release,
players now have access to additional content including various weapons, items and two new
maps. Will you be playing Tactical Intervention today? If so, make sure you find Kirk because
he's truly awful at first person shooters. Free kills.
