welcome to this Hindenburg Journalist
and Hindenburg Journalist PRO tutorial
in this tutorial we will look at effects
adding an effect in Hindenburg Journalist
is done in the same way
that you would do it on a sound-desk
the effects will be applied to the entire track
so if I open the effect bin and apply the built in eq
the effect will be applied to all audio
on the entire track
from the effects bin here
I can find all my built in effects
there is the equalizer for polishing the sound
and the compressor for squeezing
the sound together
the loudness meter does not affect the sound
but does show you the levels
according to the loudness standards
EBU R128
and the same goes for the BBC meter
these are the built in effects
you can furthermore use any Third Party
VST or Audio Unit plugin
an example could be
this Tubetech compressor
or this Flux Stereo Tool
If you already have plugins
correctly installed on your computer
then Hindenburg Journalist will automatically find them
and you will see them in this list
you can see more details in the user guide
I will now add an effect to this track
to give the impression
that Clark is on the Phone
loop play = shift + spacebar
If I copy this region to another track
I can mix between the two
copy = C
paste = V
fade = F
I hope you found this useful
thank you for watching
