Okay, this is Jeanette, and we are in our last segment of French braiding Alexa's hair.
As you can see, I have taken out the ends that we worked on so carefully, so I can show
you just a few more techniques. You may not see the finished product, but you'll get the
idea. So I put the rubber band to the bottom, right here at her scalp. So as to- well next
we're going to put some bows on. And so, this would be a good hairstyle when we're going
to church or something really pretty, if there's time in the morning, you know. And on the
other side, like so. I've turned on my curling iron, and I'm actually going to put a few
curls in Alexa's ends of her hair here. And you can make them as fancy and curly as you
want. But I'm just going to show you. Like I said before, you already have hairspray
on the bottom, so it's actually going to take to the curl quite fast if your curling iron
is hot. And so, that's just a very, very simple basic curl. You'd take the end; I'll show
that one more time here. Alright, so just got a little curl. Take the other side. You
can do them up as curly and leave them in as long as you want. So you open the curling
iron, like so, you place the hair inside, bring it to the very tip, like that, and you
turn it. And the end product it'll be very, very beautiful. You leave it in for about
20 seconds, and you come out with a cute little curl, like so. And because the hairspray is
in there, it'll stay probably all day. Thank you so much, from Expert Village. Alexa and
Jeanette were so happy to have taught you how to do French braids. And we'll see you
next time on another expertvillage.com talent.
