We see children who have difficulties in academic areas - reading, math, writing. We see children
who have attention and organization problems. And we actually specialize in kids who have
social learning problems. So those are kids who, instead of not being able to read words,
they can't read social cues.
We don't really like to have kids that are on medicine and are not learning skills because
the medicine is really supposed to make them more available to be themselves and to be
open to learning either social skills or academic skills or organizational skills.
To see the kids early on and watch them develop and watch them enhance their skills - feel
great about themselves, make good decisions, end up in wonderful life circumstances - I
feel really lucky to do the work that I do.
