>> KASPARIAN: Lady Gaga's latest music video for the song Alejandro came out a couple of
days ago. And everyone is talking about it. And even Katy Perry took to her Twitter accounts
to tweet about her thoughts about the music video. So let me explain what the music video
features a little bit, so you'll explain Katy Perry's tweet. In Alejandro, Lady Gaga is
dressed in a Latex Nun's Habit sucking on rosary beads. And she's at the center of a
gay *** dressed in a Crucifix and emblazoned robe with a cross over her crotch. So, yeah,
I mean, it's controversial, whatever, it's Lady Gaga, you should expect it. So Katy Perry
saw it, and then she has to share her thoughts with the world. She says, "Using blasphemy
as entertainment is as cheap as a comedian telling a fart joke."
>> UYGUR: Yeah, not buying it. >> KASPARIAN: Yes.
>> UYGUR: Okay. >> KASPARIAN: I love how she's talking about
being cheap. >> UYGUR: Correct me if I'm wrong, go back
to that last picture, is that not cream shooting out of her ***?
>> KASPARIAN: Ha, ha, ha. No, no, no, but Lady Gaga is cheap not Katy Perry. She's classy
as can be. Oh, come on. >> UYGUR: Go, go, go, go, go. Okay, look,
if you ask me the whole, "Oh, we're going to be risque by taking out a religion and
putting your cross on her crotch," it's not really that risque. It's been done a million
times. I'm not against it, I'm not for it. I don't really care. I don't think it's a
big deal. >> KASPARIAN: You're indifferent.
>> UYGUR: Yeah. But for Katy Perry to feel like, you know, you're to be indignant over
it, that's absurd. >> KASPARIAN: Well, could I just say something
really quick about Lady Gaga and other female performers? Look, Christina Aguilera has been
going to the press talking so much crap about Lady Gaga, right? And, now, Katy Perry is
doing it. What I think is, there's a lot of hater-aide going on. Okay?
>> UYGUR: Yeah. You know, I think there's two possibilities.
>> KASPARIAN: Definitely, your--Ana's theories are a hundred percent possible. So one theory
is just Bittermann, right? I mean, their like, "Just why is everybody looking at Lady Gaga.
Look at my shooting breast. What's wrong? Come on. So I'll pop, I'll put a cross somewhere
else," you know? Okay, huh-huh, did you think about that? Why they try to grab some attention.
>> KASPARIAN: Right. >> UYGUR: Some spotlight. And they're milking
Lady Gaga's spotlight for their own, but they can't help feeling bitter about it. The second
theory is, no, it's all fraud. Like, they all know it. They're fake criticizing her
and everybody gets hyped out of it. Lady Gaga gets more hyped out of it. Katy Perry, Christina
Aguilera, they all get hype out of it. I don't know the entertainment field that well, that
I would know, I'd be able to tell you which of the two is true, but, I don't know, what
do you think out of those two? >> KASPARIAN: I think that's a possibility.
But I really think it's option number one more than anything. It's just...
>> UYGUR: You know it's... >> KASPARIAN: Even before Lady Gaga became
big, like, Christina Aguilera was just talking about ***. Like--because this is what happened.
Lady Gaga is always had this crazy style, right? And all of the sudden, Christina Aguilera
started performing wearing very similar costumes, right?
>> UYGUR: Oh-oh. >> KASPARIAN: So then, a reporter asked Christina
Aguilera about it and she was just mortified. She was pissed. And I think that's always
been something that's been under her skin. Like, "Oh, shoot, they figured out that I
was copying this less popular singer." And then all of the sudden, Lady Gaga blows up
and then she becomes even more bitter, and then Katy Perry--who the hell is Katy Perry?
Like she kissed a girl, she liked, it's over. She's done.
>> UYGUR: Oh, no. By the way, you were defending her the other day, okay.
>> KASPARIAN: I was because I think she's beautiful. Look, I like Katy Perry, like...
>> UYGUR: Oh, remember she was number one hottest?
>> KASPARIAN: Yeah. >> UYGUR: Oh, hell, no. Hell, no, no.
>> KASPARIAN: That's why--that is why I was defending her because I do believe she's number
one hottest. I think she's beautiful, right? But as soon as she starts, you know, doing
Katy moves like this and talking crap about another female artist, it's dumb because look
at the pot calling the kettle black, please. >> UYGUR: Yeah.
>> KASPARIAN: You are not classy, okay. >> UYGUR: Saucer of milk, party of two, right?
It's super obvious. And I have a conclusion. And by the way, don't get me wrong. Katy Perry
is not ugly, right? But she ain't number one hottest girl in the world, not even close,
not within miles. >> KASPARIAN: By the way, iJustine is on that
list of top 100. >> UYGUR: Oh, really?
>> KASPARIAN: Yeah. >> UYGUR: Nah, they just do it based on hype.
It's nonsense, okay? She didn't even make my top ten on YouTube.
>> KASPARIAN: Right, which is---I was amazed by that.
>> UYGUR: Okay. I've seen her, but she's not bad looking. Again, good-looking girl, okay?
She's not top ten on YouTube, but she's got a lot of hype. But that's how the world works.
It's okay. All right, I have a conclusion. >> KASPARIAN: Okay.
>> UYGUR: It's both, okay? They are bitter at her, and they can't help themselves. But
they also secretly know, "Hey, you know what? This is getting a lot of press coverage,"
and that ain't a bad thing, right? >> KASPARIAN: Uh-hmm.
>> UYGUR: So that's why there's a lot of hater-aide going on for Lady Gaga.
