Hi! Nili Nathan and Lisa LeBar with Expert Village and we’re showing you some healthy
meals that you can prepare for your kids. And what’s this next one Lisa? This one’s
so quick and easy it’s a little apple in a blanket, kids like the sound of it, of course
it has a little bit of fruit in there it’s got that nice sweet crunch from the apple
and it’s only four things really that you need, three ingredients is apples, cream cheese,
turkey and of course just a few toothpicks to make sure it all sticks together nicely.
So it’s quick and easy make sure you just go ahead and take your cream cheese, smear
it on your apple a little bit sometimes it gets a little where it doesn’t want to smear
as much as you’d like and then you’re using dark turkey? We have dark turkey meat
right now which is good too and it’s definitely nice and nutritious as you can see, it doesn’t
have any sugars or carbs really that are going to be bad for you, of course there’s a little
sugar in apple because that’s okay because it is a fruit, it’s a natural sugar, it’s
a natural sugar exactly. So as you see here this little thing they can just pop it in
their mouth and taste it actually I make this for my husband at home it’s quick and easy
especially when he’s screaming for snacks and there you go it’s nice and easy.
