PH Buffer Packets Hey everyone, Aquaman here with FilterDoctor.com.
Today we’re looking at the HM Digital PH Buffer Solution.
Now, HM Digital is an ISO 9001 certified company, which basically means they have to maintain
extremely high standards during their manufacturing process. That translate for you and me to
very high quality products, and I’m convinced that they are.
Now, this pH buffer solution is a bottle containing twelve packets of pH buffer solution. Now,
the bottle is 100 milliliters, so you simply take the packets out of the bottle, put 100
milliliters of distilled or deionized water in the bottle and then open one packet of
the appropriate pH level, pour it in, put the cap on, shake it up and you have a pH
buffer solution of either 4.0, 7.0, or 10.01 pH.
These solutions can be used for a vast array of applications. You could use it as a storage
solution for the electrodes on a pH meter, if it was the 7.0 solution, or you might have
an ORP meter, an oxidation reduction potential meter; those typically take a 4.0 pH buffer
solution as the storage solution for those electrodes.
And you might need to calibrate a pH meter with an appropriate level solution. And there
could be any number of other reasons why in certain scientific applications; or industrial
or commercial situations you would want a solution of a specific pH level. And that’s
what the pH buffer solution packets are for. Again, this is from HM Digital, it is a twelve
pack; looks like there are three of the 4.0, six of the 7.0, and three of the 10.0 pH buffer
solution packets. I’m your host Aquaman with FilterDoctor.com.
Thanks for watching.
