Hi everybody so today I'm filming
in the office because Jenna's sleeping and I don't have to be
downstairs. So, as you can see, I have a
turban style on today. Umm
I'm just at home. It's a Friday and I'm filming
and I didn't feel like having my hair doing anything
with it. So, I thought I'd do this turban style. So what I'm gonna do
is show you guys how to do this. So, if you're having a bad hair day, or
I don't know you just feel like styling the
turban. You can do that. So, it's really quick, really simple
So, lets get started with the video guys. Ok guys so now we're gonna
get started with the tutorial. What I'm using is just a
large rectangular scarf. Mine has this rose and
black and white leaf design. So, again its just a really long
rectangular one. What's you're gonna do is
you're gonna take it and kinda, like what I just did
here is take it and kinda scrunch it up. Then instead of
putting it this way. We're gonna start from
the back. So, you're gonna... my head's gonna go away for a minute. Ok, so
I'll turn around so you guys can... can you see me?
Alright, so what you're gonna do it take it
and you're just gonna put it like this.
Pull it up.. hi guys!
So, now just make sure that the 2 sides are even.
I look insane. Ok, so make sure the 2 side are even.
Then what you're gonna do is
I'll show you from the back again. Hopefully you can see see this. You're gonna take it,
put it all the way to the bottom. You're just going to
wrap it around your head like
so. Ok, so see how I got this here. Then
get all your hairs in there. You're just gonna take it,
Ok guys, so you're gonna have this end right here.
A big long rope. What I'm gonna do is start twisting it. So
its my right hand and I'm gonna twist it inwards. So, towards
the left. What's gonna end up happening
I'll show you here, is gonan pull it up.
As you twist, it's gonna end up
curling, like a seashell. So, as you keep twisting
like I said, the more
scarf you have, the larger this uh
flower, seashell swirl. Whatever you call it.
Is going to be. Just keep going
around
and then just kinda take it around the edge
each time. So that your rope
gets bigger and bigger.
Ok, so I'm just going to
do a quick twirl there. I'm just puling it around the
top. Again it's up to you guys, you know, how
twisted you want this to be, or how big you want it
to be. What you can do, is
like I have quite a bit here, so I'm gonna actually tuck
it under. Then if you have a piece that's hanging out just tuck
that under. Because my flower is getting pretty large and in
charge here and I don't want it to get all over my face.
So, I'm just gonna kinda keep tucking that up
in there so now it's actually gonna start going out a little bit.
Get some 3-D dimension. Then all you're gonna do with the end is you're
just going to tuck that in.
That should stay, and that's what
you guys get. So here's from the side.
The other side as you can see, it's quite large.
I will turn around. Here's from the back. A little bit
of my bun there. It's up to you what you want. So,
that's the style. I hope you guys enjoy this video. I've never done anything like this before, but
I just kinda fallen in love with the whole like turban thing like
bad hair day. Even um, I do watch
a lot of, surprisingly, I watch a lot of hijab tutorials. So,
if you don't know what that means. A lot of Muslim women and females
wear a hijab, where they have the scarf covering up their neck and hair.
I know that some of them, as long as you hve a turtleneck covering your neck. You can wear
styles like this that still covers your hair and your ears and everything like that.
So, you could wear it for that as well. So, for whatever you're gonna
wear it for. If anybody does this, please send me pictures, or a video
response of you doing it. I'd love to see that and uh just let me
know what other videos you guys would like to see. Whether its makeup, hair, something
like this, or whatever. Remember to
subscribe so you will keep getting my vidoes, and keep learning
more things. I will see you guys in my next video.
Bye everybody!
