in the same language that Jesus Christ spoke
students of Mar Ephrem school speak the Aramaic language
since 2003
the school was founded to revive this essential language
Mar Ephrem School was established in Beit Jala
its aim was Education and at its core
the core aim is to revive the Aramaic language
which is the language used at our Assyrian Church
the language that was spoken by Jesus Christ almighty
in which many verses of the Old Testament are written in
it is also the language of our forefathers
the Aramaics
who lived in Mesopotamia
which included Syria, Iraq and Turkey
and it is the foundation of the Semitic Languages
from it came the Hebrew and Arabic Languages
despite the resemblance of the languages
teaching it to students is considerably hard
and necessitates effort
it is a strange language to this area
and we can say that there is a gap
in which parents can't communicate with their children
because they don't know the language
we only teach this language in school
the student doesn’t need to go home and ask for help
because we give our best to help them understand it
students that are less than 15 years old
love the language
and look at it as a beautiful challenge
it is great that we learn new things
and speak this language
and be able to speak it throughout the world
we love to learn new languages
and we thank Father Neme
for his help and development
we love this language because it’s the language of our lord Jesus Christ
we are taught many languages among them is the Assyrian Language
which is the language of the lord Jesus Christ
and when we go to church
we understand what the priests say
and would like to develop more language skills
many students belong to this school
and are increasing annually
