Welcome to another film on WarTapes channel about Assassin's Creed Brotherhood.
Today I'm gonna talk about Multiplayer, which is considered by many players
as the second best multiplayer available on the market,
just after BF Bad Company 2.
Multiplayer in A.C. Brotherhood is totally different than Single.
I can firmly say, you haven't played anything like that before.
I will describe the basics of Multiplayer based on a type of game called: Manhunt
Manhunt consists of two rounds and I'll start with the first one
where we are the hunters.
The game starts with a team leader choosing one of a dozen available characters
- In this game he has chosen the marquis -
and our whole team will be playing this character during two rounds.
The aim of our team is to find and identify the opponents based on their
image, which can be seen at the upper-right corner of the screen.
When we manage to identify the enemy our objective is to eliminate the target.
Our enemies also look identically and additionally they have a possibility
to blend in a crowd of people looking exactly like them.
So how should we know if a person is our target or just an ordinary citizen?
Here's where the compass (visible at the centre of the screen) comes in.
The closer we get to the enemy the wider the ray on the compass gets.
Additionally, if an enemy comes in our line of sight
the blue light on the compass starts shining more brightly.
Another element making the assassins' life easier is a targeting system.
To use it we have to aim at the suspect and press the default middle mouse button.
Above our target a padlock icon will appear
and our companions will know that this is our suspect.
If our companion kills an enemy marked by us in such a way
we'll get additional co-op points.
Some words about scoring system:
If we want to get maximum points for a kill we have to surprise our opponent.
If he recognizes us and starts running
we'll only get a minimum amount of points - provided that we whack him.
If we lose sight of the enemy, the white stripe we currently see on the screen
will start shrinking and when it gets to zero the target will be able to escape.
If our team members are smart enough, they will pursue the hunted
and won't let him get off their sight.
To make the game even more amusing the creators included gadgets like
smoke bombs, flashbangs and many more.
These objects can help in a big way and both teams can use them.
When we are assassins our opponents can't kill us but they can stun us
for a couple of seconds, which will enable them to run away and get
additional points.
While identifying the target it is a good idea to observe the suspect.
Especially inexperienced players will try to get off our way
and avoid making physical contact.
Often, it's unclear who our enemy is. In slow motion you can now see
a team of assassins who are trying to kill the opponent
who is hiding among identically looking citizens.
How did I know that THAT guy was my target? Well, at first I didn't.
However, he was the only guy left alive.
Just like a pack of wolves, true assassins work together.
In the next round we change roles and now we are the hunted
and the enemy is the hunter.
In this round we play a lethal version of hide-and-seek.
Our aim is to camouflage ourselves the best we can and survive the round.
In multiplayer games we can often find people who don't understand
that standing in one place with their back turned to the surroundings
is not a good idea to escape the assassins. Moreover, we only get points
if we hide in hay bales, bushes, benches and blending in with other people.
We score additional points for stunning enemies and escaping them.
Remember though that if there are more than one assassin
stunning and escaping can be really difficult.
Blending in is one the best ways to hide from our pursuers
'cause it allows us to leave the site hastily in case of danger.
If you are playing as a marquis, try to blend in a crowd of as many marquises
as you can. It will make the assassins' task much more difficult.
You can press a (default) TAB key to check the score.
When you see a person that can be your pursuer do not panic
and run if it's not necessary. Remember that time is on your side.
The longer you stay in the shadows the better for you.
When you are sure the enemy is on you remember to mark him.
This way, our team members will be aware of the approaching danger.
As your enemy is about to attack you can use one of your gadgets
to stun the enemy and make your way through to a safe place.
If you hide in hay bales be sure to observe the surroundings for
any sights of a danger. Try to stay close to glowing, shiny places.
While being pursued these gates will cut assassins' way and let you escape more easily.
If you suspect that our enemy is close, don't stay in one place.
Especially, if there are no citizens around that look like you.
If you suspect that the enemy is following you, try to find a hiding place
or blend in with people looking like you.
Treat running and confrontation as the final resort remembering that
true assassins work in teams.

In next parts I will explain the use of all the perks and gadgets in A.C. B.
