Hi I'm Tom, hi he's Tom and i'm Gina
we're from the blended learning team in the Learning and Teaching Unit.
And welcome to vUWS FLASH. So Tom
what is vUWS FLASH? Glad you asked Gina
It will be short little five minute release videos that will introduce you to some other features
in vUWS.
Some tips or tricks that might help you make the most of those features.Things like
colour coding in the grade centre.
so as you can see here, you can quickly identify students that may be at risk.
Or identify those students that are doing well too.
That's true Gina so what else might we be showing?
Let me show you, what about the new content editor
it has some cool new features like video everywhere
the wirrus maths tool and even emoticons.
Hang on. So are you saying that we'll be able to do
video directly from within the content editor? drum roll please....
yes we can and by we
i mean the students to. That's a really great feature.
So what would be our first cab off the rank. Tom I'm sure you'll be thrilled to know
that the first vUWS FLASH feature is about the new
inline marking tool. It allows for
annotation, integration of the rubric tool and the new Content Editor.
So make sure you tune in for our first instalment.
So now
i bet you're all wondering how to access the vUWS FLASH episodes.
Well glad you asked Gina, theres two ways you'll be able to access the vUWS FLASH episodes.
