Starting in Fall 2013, your profile photo will be displayed on EEE to instructors and classmates, based on your release settings.
You will have new options for controlling the information that is shared on EEE.
To change your release settings,
Start at MyEEE and click My EEE Profile.
This column will provide you with access to the privacy options
Click the settings you want, then press the “Save Changes” button
You can also reach this page under Classmates.
Simply click “Manage”.
To view another person’s information,
Go to Classmates and click the person’s name.
If you are an instructor or TA, you will be given these 2 options.
These release options change what is shown to your students for all of your classes in all quarters, past, current and future.
Your photo will be shown no matter which option you choose.
If you are a student, you will be given 3 release options.
These options will specify what is displayed to your classmates in all classes and in all quarters, past, current, and future.
If you choose to not release your information,
you will be invisible on the Classmates page to everyone except the instructor.
If you choose to release your information,
you can specify whether fellow classmates can see your photos.
If you choose to release everything,
your fellow classmates will be able to see all the information you have entered,
such as your screennames for AIM, MSN and Yahoo and your personal websites.
Please note that your instructors will always be able to see your name, photo, and email.
If you have a crosslisted course, you will see the course’s combined enrollment.
Your profile photo, by default, is your official UCI ID card photo.
An image of an anteater is used in your MyEEE Profile
until an official ID card photo is taken at The Hill campus bookstore.
Once The Hill has taken your photo and produced a new ID card for you,
your photo should replace the anteater image within approximately 24 hours.
If you are a UCI employee without undergraduate standing,
you can upload a custom photo, which will be displayed in place of your official photo.
