>>Student: It gave me some encouragement. It helped remind me that I am a good student.
And there are people kind of pushing me forward and backing me up. I would say definitely
donate because it really, really impacts the students' future and it could be the difference
as to whether they continue their education or have to drop out.
>>Student: So I'm focusing on getting a technical degree in manufacturing along with my business
degree. So that I could work in the manufacturing industry because this area is nothing but
manufacturing so I know that I'll get a good job. I have myself going and my children are
interested and yeah, it has a big impact on my family and overall. So I agree with the
philosophy that NWTC instills in the community and families and everybody. I think it's an
important organization in our community.
>>Student: It's really nice since I have three children and a family, going back to school
at an older age, to take off financial burden for the fall semester when I start going to
school five days a week. So it's a big, big help.
>>Student: It's very significant for a few reasons. Financially, it's obviously a great
motivation to do well and prove myself based on the scholarship that was given to ease
the financial burden that is experienced when you're going back to school. It's also a point
of pride. I've never received anything like this. It's a direct showing of what I've tried
so hard to do for my family.
>>Daughter: My mom going back to school really does mean a lot to me. I'm trying my best
to be her biggest fan and trying to really encourage her. And her going back to school
also makes me want to work harder and really pushes me to be just like her. She's my hero.
