What's going to make for a good photoshoot? Yeah, the first thing is - the very, very
first piece -- is the willingness to invest in a professional and that was, you know,
for years -- my parents are artists, they had great cameras, and so for years I had
mom and dad taking shots against white walls and white backdrops and it was what it was
and I think we've all been there. The best investment I ever made was in getting
great shots because those are -- once you've made that investment, you can use those everywhere
and they build your credibility. I looked at the best photos from the folks from my
area. I looked at, you know, and I was like, "hey, who did your photos", and I found an
outstanding guy. The biggest thing that makes the photoshoot is the relationship between
you and the photographer, is somebody who they have fun, they've got a kind of -- they
make you feel comfortable, that's huge you know?
Great photographers -- the really great ones are ones that put you at ease and get you
in where your expression is just going to be natural and it's going to be fun because
you're relaxed and you're at ease, and you're happy because that's what the photos really
do -- they create a connection with the buyer through print, or through internet, or through
whatever, they build that human connection, it's face to face.
So find -- look at the ones that really grab you and be like, "hey, who did your photos"
-- go to that person.
