Hey gorgeous,
My name is Alex Beadon, and this is Chatty Tuesday where together we turn your creative
passion into your life's work so that you can make MAD MONEY while you do what you LOVE
and finally be able to afford that luxurious vacation you've had your eye on.
For me? It's Bora Bora.
Today I have something SO EXCITING in store for you.
And if you take action after this video it has the power to totally revolutionize your
business.
Oh yeah.
So remember the first thing you need for a successful photography business?
We spoke about it in last week's Chatty Tuesday, and we spoke about it again during the launch
of Dress to Impress - but I'm gonna say it again in case you need a healthy reminder:
The first thing you need for a successful photography business is images that people
are willing to pay you for.
Because the truth is - if you want to make six figures as a photographer, your photos
need to cause a love-at-first-sight reaction.
That's what Dress to Impress is for.
So - after your images start causing love-at-first-sight reactions, what's next?
What's going to take your business another step towards your six figure heaven?
A kick-*** website.
Simple, right?
You'd be surprised at the amount of websites I see that don't really sell the business
very well -- despite the photographer being insanely talented.
Here's the truth of it, my friend, whether you like it or not, your website is your store
front!
You wouldn't expect to find a $30,000 gold encrusted lizard in an old, run down gas station
now would you?
People work so *** making their product the best it can be - but it's totally useless
if you don't know how to sell your product.
So that's what we're going to explore today: how to sell your product through your website.
Today we are going to dissect Angela's website, and while we are dissecting it I'm going to
be giving you TOP tips on how to improve along the way.
Angela Singleton is the owner of A Single Photo.
She describes herself as a maternity and newborn photographer trying to offer a boutique style
business.
Before we dive in it's important to clarify one thing: Who is Angela's target market?
The answer?
Expecting moms and dads.
But let's be honest, the person Angela is trying to connect with the most is the moms,
right?
We want to keep that in mind with everything we look at today.
The main purpose of any photographer's website is to get clients.
And what is one of the most important things when someone is deciding whether to hire you
or not?
Trust.
So the question then becomes: how can we build trust?
So today we are going to be discussing two things in detail:
1) The importance of the words you choose and
2) The importance of building a relationship with your potential customer.
Let's get started!
OOOOOOHWEEEE!
That was intense, right?
But I think we learned two major lessons.
1) The importance of the words you choose and 2) The importance of building a relationship
with your potential customer.
After watching this video: What changes will you be making to your website?
The most important part of improving your business is taking action so I want
to hear exactly what you're going to do to improve in the comment section below.
I want you to be accountable and make a promise to yourself that you're going to feel the
inspiration, and ACT on the newly learned lessons just like Amanda from last week did
(SO PROUD of that girl!)
Thanks so much for watching, if you love this video - share it with your friends and make
