Dr. Dan Collins: Hi, my name is Dan.
Dr. Niall Smith: …And my name is Niall.
Dan: And we’re from the Cord Institute of Technology
Niall: Which is in Cork, in Ireland.
Dan: Cork Institute of Technology is the second largest, but we believe, the best institute
of technology on the island of Ireland.
Niall: We have the best research; we have the best facilities for students, great grub,
local pubs.
Dan: Beer is fantastic, but don’t quote us on that one.
Niall: No.
Dan: Cork is a great city of culture; there is a lot to do there, a lot to visit there.
I think our students love the atmosphere of our campus; they love the atmosphere of Cork
city, and just love life and love living. So, we got great culture, life, fun. Come
on Nile, you start…
Niall: Well, I was going to say, we live in a compact city, so you can get wherever you
want to go from one place to another, easily. You don’t need a car, you don’t need buses,
you just walk around, makes life very simple.
Dan: We’re also the friendliest city in Ireland, so, friends, you make good friends
Niall: And, we’re the institute of technology of the year for 2016, which means we are the
best.
Dan: Okay, so guys, to all of you watching us, come to Cork, you’re guaranteed a great
welcome, and a visit you’ll never forget.
Niall: Absolutely, lots of international students welcome anytime, we’re open 24/7, and we
even have the Internet, so you can talk back home when you get a bit lonely.
Dan: So guys, welcome to Cork!
