The Super Smash Bros. series is one of the best series I've ever played.
Its original fighting system, its varied playing modes, its hilarious multiplayer, and of course, its pure Nintendo universe.
Everyone has already dreamt of seeing one character or another in the series.
That's why I'm presenting you with the Top 10 characters deserving to be in a potential future SSB.
Let it be clear that this is not a poll or a study, or anything like this. It's only my personal opinion, nothing more.
Also, this list only contains Nintendo characters. Therefore, third party characters are excluded. Trolls are warned.
Yugnat is online and nobody cares! Here's the Top 10 characters deserving to be in SSB4!
Even if I agree that Pokémon is going way too far, I also think Zoroark well deserves a place in SSB4.
After Mewtwo and Lucario, it's Zoroark, the 5th generation icon, who seems to be the one lined up as a front-line choice.
Although we all hope there won't be one or two more generations by then.
Prepare to say "What the f*ck ?".
Indeed, what the f*ck.
Before hating me, think about this: How about a character created only for SSB ?
If we search for an already existing character, it can't be Master Hand, nor Crazy Hand, nor Tabuu, of course not Sandbag...
Which leaves Polygons, Wires and Alloys.
And the most symbolic are certainly the N64 Polygons. Fight with Polygons !
And how about transforming to mimic the moves of another character ?
Yeah. But however, nothing excludes the creation of an original character for this.
For the backstory, Toon Zelda was originally meant to be in Brawl. But at a certain stage, she was removed, like many other characters.
And I think she well deserves a place. However, her moves of course shouldn't be too close to Zelda's.
Also, note that Toon Sheik doesn't exist. That's why it would be logical to choose... Tetra.
Tetra being Zelda in the "Toon" episodes, the choice seems just seems logical.
Chibi-Robo! is without a doubt one of Nintendo's most underrated series.
It didn't get the expected success, and most of the games were never released outside of Japan.
It's pretty sad for such an interesting character. Chibi-Robo's got many characteristics that would make him an interesting character !
Costumes, an aid allowing him to fly, a battery system, objects helping him... The SSB series is waiting for him !
I know what everyone is saying when Ridley is suggested for SSB4. TOO BIG ! But, let me show you this.
Yes, Ridley well deserves to be in the series. After all, Samus herself considers him her archenemy.
Samus herself admits that Ridley is the character that should join her in SSB !
Haters gonna hate.
Ah, Starfy. If only he was finally released in Europe... Why, why, WHY ?
Okay, I admit that at first sight, this character seems kinda pathetic.
However, one thing is for sure : Starfy's got enough moves to make an almost complete moveset !
Star Spin, Glide, Mighty Star Spin, Dash, Costumes, Ultra Star Spin…
Woohoo !
Ah, krystal. One reason is enough for Krystal, besides being a very important Starfox character...
GIRLS POWA !
If there's a woman to remember from the Fire Emblem series, it's without a doubt Lyn.
Even if doesn't necessarily has an influence, Lyn is the main protagonist of the first internationnally released Fire Emblem,
which means a lot for us Europeans.
Nintendo seems to have understood that by having her make a quickl appearence in Brawl.
What elsecan I say, except that Lyn is a cool girl, which handles her Manni Katti sword very well,
and that her charisma offers her a high place in the SSB4 roster.
If Little Mac belongs in the series, it's not because he's charismatic, it's because he deserves it.
Nintendo like to bring back old licenses out of nowhere, and Punch-Out Wii proved it.
And that's exactly what Little Mac needed to join the roster : Popularity.
Let's not forget his quick apparence in Brawl which shows that the first step has been made!
As for his fighting ability, it doesn't need to be proven, does it ?
Let's recap the current roster.
Number 10, Zoroark.
Number 9, what the f*ck ?
Number 8, Toon Zelda and Tetra.
Number 7, Chibi-Robo.
Number 6, Ridley.
Number 5, Starfy.
Number 4, Krystal.
Number 3, Lyn.
And number 2, Little Mac.
Before trolls start attacking me becuse I'm a fanboy, I'm going to argue for my choice.
Golden Sun regained popularity recently thanks to Golden Sun Dark Dawn... Which I maintain was as good as the first one !
Anyway, the series is brought back into fashion, and then at new topical.
Isaac is the main character of the first Golden Sun, Nintendo's greatest RPG, and in fact almost the only one.
He's THE character who represents the series.
As for his fighting abilities, there's nothing to question,
Isaac can handle a sword, control the Earth element, move and grab objects from a long distance, and even summon ultra-powerful divinities!
In Brawl, where he appears as an Assist Trophy, he can even defeat an enemy with Move, which is not even a fight skill !
So imagine him summoning Venus or Catastrophe in the middle of the fight...
Isaac has to be in the next SSB. He has to. It. Must. Happen.
This wrap up my list. If you don't agree... Too bad for you !
Isaac will be in SSB4. He will.
