People say that our music makes them travel, and indeed, we travel a lot !
We are invited everywhere, and there is absolutely no problem because our music is instrumental ... there is no more boundaries ...
When we travel, we meet new people and think : let's do music together
and let's compose music in order to keep musical memories !
When we arrived in Burkina Faso, we wanted to do something different.
We had a few ideas of new tunes. We never had worked with singers.
and were lucky to meet an collective of artists : Ouagajungle
It was one of our first experience with other musicians, we didn't know if it would work,
and we stayed for 10 days and it worked very well actually
From this moment we work regularly with other artists : Mohamed Diabi, Debademba,
Koto Brawa, Charly Sidibé, Simon Winsé.
With Rap singers also : Milk Coffee Sugar.
Now we are working with a flutist : Sandra Ellama.
We have played with Victor Démé and the German reggae singer Patrice.
Our music is the story of our life. Our records are our travelbooks and our lifebooks since we are playing together for almost 15 years ...
For our last record Wagamumbai, we had composed a base for a song.
This song inspired Jacob Salem, a Ouagadougou singer and guitarist
Later, we organized our tour in India
and we met a flutist who loved that song and initiated a dialog between the voice and the flute.
This was the first time we mixed music from different countries, artists from Ouagaougou and Mumbai
Le first record was named Pariwaga, created between Paris and Ouaga.
Then we came back to Ouaga and traveled in India
and we were eager to do a new record from Ouagadougou to Mumbai
its was obvious that this music trip had to continue
Now that Wagamumbai exists, we will try to play it in India,
and we hope that a new destination will permit us to continue this musical trip with a third record,
from Mumbai to ... we don't know where ...
we have a lot of dreams !
