I have been wearing these Sitka Ascent pants this whole week here in northeast Florida.
And turkey hunting in northeast Florida and Florida in general is typically a mild or
cold weather sport. It has actually been warm this week quite a bit above normal the temps
have been in the mid to upper 80's and walking out to our hunting location in the afternoon
was quite the task we have our packs on all of our gear on. Its been hot were sweating
were working yet at the same time when were in the blind set up it doesn't seem like I'm
sweeting or overheating like I used to in the past. I solely attribute that to these
Sitka Ascent pants they've got some really nice features to them. Pry the biggest thing
right off the bat in and out of the blind, going under a fence going over a fence getting
out of the truck hoping out of the back of the truck doing some activity they stretch
they've got some give to them their comfortable. They don't pinch they don't bind they are
extremely comfortable. I am extremely impressed by them. Yet at the same time they have some
other really neat features you see I have one pant leg down of course but I have the
other one up. We have this little feature here that allows me to roll this pant leg
up and snap it so I can make them into shorts. We actually utilized that yesterday because
it was pretty hot in the blind in the upper 80's. Everything seems to be reinforced here
really well they've even gone to putting in a knife clip reinforcement there. You see
I've got that right there so that works out pretty slick. Like I said the number one thing
this has done for me is keeping me cool even though we've been doing strenuous activities
so to say its hot but is very breathable at the same time and I can imagine there will
also be some insulating qualities when I go out west here in a few weeks to Kansas and
Iowa and it might not be quite as warm this time of year.
