After a 14 hour flight I have arrived in Buenos Aires. The capital of Argentina.
At this moment, it is quite cloudy, however, the coming days the weather will improve and according to the weather forecast!
Pay attention :-) It will be very sunny!
If you are in a taxi, please do not be afraid, taxi drivers tend to cut other drivers off all the time.
Despite this, you seem to be quick at your final destination.
We are currently on our way to Palermo Hollywood, where our apartment is situated.
This neighborhood is one of the loveliest and most vibrant places of the city.
For different means of transportation, the following rule seems to be applied...
As long as it drives, it is allowed to go on the highway.
Buenos Aires has many different areas. You have just seen Palermo, and this neighborhood here is called Recoleta.
This place is where the wealthy Argentinians live, many skyscrapers are located and where you will see a lot more people than in for example Palermo Hollywood.
Now it is dinnertime, we will go to ‘’Don Julio’’ to have a bite.
This is one of the most popular steakhouses in Buenos Aires.
It is so popular (in travel guides) that nowadays, you will see more tourists dining here instead of local people.
Everyone drinks wine and beer, but we decided to order some cocktails.
They are pretty free in poring the drinks. The amount of *** for that reason is quite strong.
It is not even half past 7 and there is already a queue in front of the door.
Make sure to have reservations when you will visit this place.
If you do not have a big appetite, just order one small piece of meat with a small portion of French fries.
The bigger pieces of meat are very large and heavy on your stomach. You will get a lot of food but it is very tasty.
This party on Thursday night is called Club69 in the "Nicetoclub".
Full measures are taken to optimize the lighting, (as you can see here).
Oh, this seems a lot better :-)
The grades for Club69. A party that is taking place on every Thursday night in Nicetoclub.
It is definitely recommended by me, especially if you like electronic or deep house music.
30 kilometers in the North of Buenos Aires you will find Tigre.
A small town which was founded in 1820 by the Europeans. A place to bring fruits into the country by water.
You can go to this place by taxi and you could return by a train ‘tren de la costa’, that passes the coastline of Argentina.
This is the fruit market, but the only type of fruit I could find is this...
For years, the Argentinians.. ;-)
For years, the Argentinians have thrown their waste into the river.
It is therefore that the waters around Buenos Aires seem to be quite polluted.
As you can see, the water is brown.
Friday night (2 times a month) there is a party called ‘Rhebel’.
As you can see, it is already past sunrise. What a party!
The grades for "Rhebel"...
The music. There are two areas. Inside you will find techno music and outside you will find Spanish pop music.
This was Buenos Aires in Argentina.
An incredible city if you are into nice food, going out and lovely people.
The nightlife starts rather late. Only around 2 am the clubs are filled.
On a Wednesday night you could also visit ‘Fiesta Jolie’ and on a Saturday night ‘Human’.
At least once a week in the summer it can be very rainy.
And when it rains it won’t stop soon but with the warm temperatures I find it quite refreshing.
