Hello!
My name is Juan Jesus.
I am the representative of a winery in Rioja Alavesa -- Bodegas Ladron de Guevara.
Let's proceed with the tasting of an High Expression wine, a very condensed wine, a
wine full-bodied, structured, which is made using vineyards of more than 80 years old,
with 95% Tempranillo and 5% Graciano grapes.
The latter gives anthocynins to the wine, the colour.
The sound of this wine is low-pitched because of the glycerol, because of its dense glycerine,
which legs look like arches while going down.
In the nose, it smells like plums, raisins, Christmas aromas, and balsamic flavours.
It has been aged in Russian oak, which gives mint and chocolate aromas.
In the mouth it is pure elegance, minimalism, creamy, sumptuous, with sweet incipient gentle
and attractive tannins.
We recommend pairing it with red meats, desserts or even with some intense fish, at 16-18 C.
And, above all, we recommend drinking it in good company.
Cheers!
