Although one of the Maori players for the Hurricanes
is out with an injury,
another Maori player is ready to return
and help the team out of the rough.
The Hurricanes were beaten by the Bulls from South Africa on Saturday
which has them now reviewing their game plan.
He is a veteran of the team,
but Piri Weepu will not be back for their next game.
The Hurricanes coaches aren't the only ones
monitoring Piri's recovery.
Just five months remain until the Rugby World Cup.
But Aaron Cruden has been on the bench for the past two weeks,
and today he needed to work on just one part of his game
as he could be starting for the team this week.
It can't be done alone, but as a team.
That's why the Hurricanes are staying tight in their trainings
and practice sessions to work on this area
for their upcoming game against the Brumbies.
Although the Brumbies aren't doing so well,
Aaron Cruden is keen to take on Australian star Matt Gittau.
Now there is only one way the team can get back on track.
Irena Smith, Te Karere.
