My name is Nathan Seaton. I'm a dual major, Psychology and Philosophy. I'm currently a senior here at Webster University and my hometown is Union, Missouri.
Well, I've heard very positive things about Webster. I've had a few friends that have gone here and it's been nothing but good stories that I've heard.
I actually really like the diversity. Coming from a small town, you're used to one way of thinking, one kind of personality.
It's very diverse here. I like that.
After taking some Psych courses I took some Philosophy courses just out of interest
and I love the element of thought and I really think it helps me become a better student.
It's gonna help me become a better psychologist one day.
One of the greatest things I enjoy about Webster is that you don't have somebody that just reads about a theory or an idea.
You have somebody who actually uses it.
The professors here are very approachable and it's just a really down to earth place.
It's very easy to be friends with them, but when it comes to serious matters like grad school they're head on and they'll tell you anything you want to know.
It's not just verbatim.
Sure you do your standardized tests, your observations and whatnot but it seems like you also really need to know the person.
Through Webster I've learned to think critically in a whole different sense and really just in a whole different light.
