What benefits does dog agility have for its owners and dogs- many. I have found that once
you make a commitment, to owning a dog, your life changes for the better substantially.
Not only do you learn how to improve your dog's health and overall well being but it
connects you to something that is positive and something that occupies your time, in
a good sense. I've found that many people out of shape, mentally and physically, once
they get involved with their dog, in a agility arena, become much more focused, balanced,
positive and energetic. Not only does it have mental clarity with the owner but it certainly
gives your dog a structured activity and job to do. Many of my customers call me, with
their dogs as young as ten months and as old as eight years, with destruction and behavioral
problems. I find with agility, when you give your dog a focus and a job to do, it keeps
them balanced, as well as yourself.
