So what's it like being back in Boulder?
Because you haven't been here in a long time.
Well, in a few years,
I make it back to Colorado every once in a while...
I grew up here, were moved here in 1957...
And it was just a little tiny town,
Filled with PhDs and astropsysicists, stuff like that.
People kind of discovered it, and a lot of money came here...
Wonderful for the town in that all these wonderful old buildings have been refurbished,
And Pearl Street is a mall...
It may have gotten a bit full of itself, but I don't mind that.
I just love coming back, it's so pretty here,
The Flatirons,
It's a beautiful town, and CU is a great...
I remember technical rock climbing was just becoming
A popular sport in the late 60s...
People discovered all these flagstone buildings on campus...
Bloobidawhip! Bloobidawhip!
And it got to be such a problem...
It was like having roaches, they had students all over their buildings.
They had to make a rule against climbing on buildings,
Which was ignored. I don't know if it's still ignored, but I hope it is.
The John Lowrie Interviews were filmed at the Hotel Boulderado,

Voted one of the top film festivals in the US.
The interviews are brought to you in part by Game Force Longmont,
Colorado's premiere video game store.
From the Sega 32X to the XBox 360,
If the game existed, Game Force Longmont has it.
