FEMALE SPEAKER: We got a great email from one of our users.
She runs this NFL pool and uses Gmail for all the
organization and trash talking.
If it weren't for Gmail, I would have 90 new
emails in my inbox.
MALE SPEAKER: This story comes from a high school senior.
He was using Gmail with his friends.
Their lives have been contained in one conversation
called the chain, containing 90,000 messages.
They're off to college next fall and are looking forward
to using the chain, and Gmail, to stay in touch.
MALE SPEAKER: We got this story from someone who left
the tech industry to become a pilot.
He doesn't have a lot of time to deal with spam because he's
too busy flying.
After having my Gmail address for over a year, I think in
total I have only received 5,200 spam messages.
With other services, I get 5,200 in a week.
MALE SPEAKER: We got an email from a college freshman in a
chemical engineering class.
She and some of her teammates were doing a project on
phytoremediation.
They were almost done with project, but they still needed
to find some of these plants.
She was amazed that one day when she logged into Gmail she
found ads for plants for phytoremediation, and she'd
been looking all over for them.
This person was able to use Gmail ads to find something
she couldn't get anywhere else.
