Morning Borah High School. These are your Thursday, December 19th Announcements.
If you are interested in participating in the Poetry Out Loud competition this year,
there will be an informational meeting TODAY, at lunch in Room 106. For more information
about Poetry Out Loud, you may visit the website at Poetryoutloud.org, or see Mr. McHenry in
room 106.
Attention Seniors!!! Seniors ticket prices for the senior party go up after this Friday.
If you want to purchase the ticket for the current price of $40, pick up a form from
Mrs. Briggs' office this week. Forms and payment must be received by Friday in order to get
the $40 price. After Friday the price goes up to $45.
Today in the Lions Dens, Mrs. Boxer will be the teacher and Salome Paul and James Packwood
are the tutors.
At Break, Debate will be selling Muffins. At Lunch, Come pick up your subway.

Boys Basketball will hit the road tomorrow night to Eagle. Soph start at 4:30, JV at
6 and Varsity at 7:30.
This is the last school week of 2013 and we would like to the time to notice some people
that have done some amazing things here at Borah in the 2013.
Let's start with our Administration Tricia Holloway received Golden Apple Award
in October; this for the top administration assistant.
Josh Ritchie was named Counselor of the Year by the Idaho Association of Collegiate Registrars
and Admissions Officers. Now for Students
Jacie Wilde accepted to attend the People to People, Student Ambassador's Celtic, and
Cultures Tour during the summer of 2014.
Amanda Wester won a Governors Council for Suicide Prevention award from the Idaho Federation
of Families for Children's Mental Health.
