Actually, I'm from Korea and I'm in the U.S. so I can meet a lot of friends who are from
other countries, so I can understand them and extend my thinking.
...celebrating everybody's ethnicity and where they came from. I was just watching the Hawaiian
dancers and I was just 'wow,' we have a taste of the south pacific here in Chico and then
we just had some Korean. We got some of everybody here so we need to, in this nation, because
this nation's a big melting pot, we need to celebrate diversity and stop. Again, hating
on one another. Cant we all just get along?
To me, diversity means just accepting people from different cultural and economic and spiritual
backgrounds. And realizing that even though they may have differences from you that doesn't
mean they're better or worse than you.
Diversity means including people of all skin types, of all ethnicities and cultures.
I think it means to also make it aware to other cultures what their culture represents, and just being inclusive in any way.
