Welcome to the Virtual Tour of UVU.
The majority of UVU’s buildings are connected.
A nice feature when it is snowing outside!
Due to the fact that all buildings are connected, rooms are arranged by campus level instead of building level.
When you look at a room number the first two letters are the building,
the first number is the floor and the last two numbers are the room number.
Our first stop is the Alumni and Visitor Center.
The Alumni house is a beautiful mansion that functions as a gathering place and an office.
Not only is it a place for University meetings
but also anyone can schedule a wedding reception or party when the space is available.
The Brent Brown Ball Park is a beautiful baseball stadium located in the southwest corner of campus.
The 2500 stadium-style venue opened in 2005.
In the summertime the stadium is home to the Orem Owlz, and the UVU Wolverines.
The Browning Administration Building is known as the command center of UVU because it houses the presidential suite.
Everything you need to get started is in this building at One Stop. Financial aid, admissions, scholarships, and registration.
You can even make tuition payments down the hall at the cashier’s office.
The Computer Science and Engineering Building sits high above the other buildings on the east side of campus.
The building has several computer labs and houses UVU Studios and Engineering, where television programs and videos are created.
The building is known for its ground floor which was designed to look like a motherboard.
The Environmental Technology building is the smallest building on campus.
It is located in the hall of flags, housing the Environmental Technology Management program.
The UCCU Events center is the home of UVU athletics.
The building has an 8000 seat capacity and hosts not only Wolverine basketball, and wrestling,
but dances, concerts, speeches and a variety of community events.
In July 2013, UVU will be joining the Western Athletic Conference!
With this change, UVU will have even more exciting games for you to attend.
To find out when and where these will take place, go to wolverinegreen.com.
Distance Education, Extended Studies, and Concurrent Enrollment are all found in the Extended Education building.
The Office of Extended Studies at Utah Valley University coordinates and
supports academic educational opportunities at non-traditional times and at various locations.
The Gunther Technology Building accommodates most of the trades programs UVU was founded upon.
These include welding, cabinetry and architectural woodwork,
building construction and construction management.
In addition to these programs you will also find the School of the Arts and the Noorda Theatre.
The Liberal Arts Building is located adjacent to the Library.
Here you will find the Math Lab, Academic Tutoring, UVU’s dance studios, and the College of Humanities and Social Sciences.
Many of your general education classes will be located in this building.
The library is located on the northeast side of campus.
It features cutting-edge technology.
Included in the building are group study rooms, a commons area with more than 90 computers,
a café, and a collection of books, CDs and DVDs.
The Losee Center for Student Success is located east of the Sorensen Student Center.
It is home to some academic advisors, UVU’s Career Development Center, the Center for the Advancement of Leadership
and the honors programs. The Losee Center also houses the Volunteer and Service-Learning center and Accessibility services.

Many biology and chemistry classes are held here and it features a planetarium on the third floor.
The Science Building was built in 2012 it is a beautiful structure where there are several state of the art learning and research labs.
There is also a 400-seat auditorium that is used by many other departments on campus.

and the schools local newspaper, the UVU Review.
The Sparks Automotive building is located just south of the Losee Center.
This is where the automotive students learn the ins and the outs of the automotive industry.
With degrees and certifications in automotive, collision repair, and diesel mechanics.
Adjacent to the Browning Administration building is the Woodbury Business Building.
This building houses the multicultural center, study abroad, ROTC, and the masters of business administration program.
It was recently remodeled to have a look resembling Wall Street.
Throughout the year you will notice several construction projects on campus.
UVU is currently constructing the Student Life and Wellness Center.
It is estimated that it will be completed in December 2013.
The building features a variety of fitness rooms, game rooms, a rock wall,
a reflection center, and an 1/8 Mile Track overlooking the basketball courts.
To keep up to date on all of the construction projects and how they will affect you and your
commute to campus the school has provided a website.
www.uvu.edu/pardonourdust is where you can find out about all the different projects that are going on and how to plan for them.
That concludes our tour for today! UVU is a very dynamic campus, which is constantly changing and improving.
As you walk around campus keep an eye out for information on new buildings and projects!
